Lion and Monkey Story

This is a folktale denoting the need to pay attention to cues in a conversation. These cues help in success in ventures that one can partake. in this story Monkey borrows a bar of soap from Lion but loses that bar of soap which Lion wants back.
This folktale kind of reminds of the Merchant of Venice where Shylock wants his pound of flesh from poor merchant Antonio.
In this tale Lion wants to eat Monkey for not honouring his part of the bargain. Monkey is only saved by listening carefully to cues when head judge Fox was passing sentence.
