That's a tactic for getting more fans, but artists like her will never be everyone's cup of tea, so instead she should focus on what type of fans she already has. We are the type of people who are emotional and prefer to fixate on a beautiful chord progression and rhythm for a few minutes while we vibe out. Go listen to tame Impala and just let a good 7 of their songs play and you see the magic of lengthy catchy eccentric vibe sessions...

You love tame Impala for the very reason I brought them up... Because they jam. All of their songs are at least 4 minutes and some as long as 9. They understand music. Lion babe is onto something but she's still afraid to marinate in her sound... This song is the best one since her first song Fire. That means she's still understanding what she is... The thing is her fans already understand her which is why we are talking about her right now, but I want her to understand why we like her. Once she does, she'll naturally let songs like this crescendo for about 4 to 5 mins, then she'll start to gain the cult following she's going for. I've been studying great people all my 33 years and you may not think I'm right, but trust me I am.
