Felt the same exact way when I performed it The Violins didn’t put in the same effort as the Violas (my instrument), the Cellos, and our Bass, so we slowed down DRAMATICALLY bc of them

Such a fond memory! I was a senior and first chair viola about 13 years ago. I remember it being such a hard piece but it taught me that the key to being a musician is to let go. Let the song move you and breathe. It will all come together in the end. Enjoy your middle school and highschool orchestra days 🎻
