It is possible that - because one of Leo the lion’s (the young variant is called Kimba in America) Friends is a mandrill - the eponymously named Leo the lion anime show by Tezuka Productions is set in Cameroon.

MGM anyone? the studio used lions for years, mostly for their logo. Interestingly, there's been more than 1 variant of their lion logo. Yep, Leo isn't the only lion MGM had. They each had different names. Slats (1916-1926) Jackie (1926-1955) Telly (1928-1934) Coffee (1928-1934) Tanner (1934-1955) (1963-1967) George (1956/1957) Leo (1957-present) MGM started in 1924 after a merger between Metro pictures and Goldwyn pictures. Louis B. Mayer added Mayer to the name to form Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM). from that moment on, MGM became a household name.🦁 they also made tom and jerry. if 90's kids find that familiar, they might remember seeing tanner right at the beginning of most of the tom and jerry shorts. some tom and jerry shorts actually were animated in europe. the highly misunderstood Gene Deitch shorts were animated in what is now the czech republic. these shorts are the few shorts to use leo. the Jones period revived Tanner, who was used for the first run of tom and jerry shorts from 1940 all the way to 1958. believe it or not, tom and jerry were originally in theaters.

Lions are the king of the jungle because compared to all mammal predators at the top of the food chain, they have a little bit of everything. 50% speed of cheetah 50% power of tiger And the big reason is that lions are social predators, if lions were solitary.
