The luck of the dice and you won. Fantastic view 🎉🎉. Buffalo this is fantastic. Love the way you do that adding those pictures in that’s fantastic.🎉🎉Wow great picture of lions snd buffalo. wonder if the lions are gonna have their meal soon. maybe it’s too many Buffalo to worry about attacking one. yes, stay down lion don’t let them see you. there’s too many of them. it seems like they’re more sleepy than hungry at this point or maybe more cautious. lol yes must share 😂. lol I love the paw on the back that’s great. those flies look so tiny our flies are big unless they’re babies then of course they’re small. Thank you for the video. It was fantastic.❤❤❤

Always my pleasure @heavenlyclouds! I’m just getting started now! It brought back some fond memories extracting those images I’ve taken and before filming I was pretty much obsessed with wildlife photography. Thanks for mentioning that! I want to use 10 of my very best to offer the audience a chance to support my channel. Will have a digital signature on a full quality JPEG 😄 These cats were anyway to lazy to continue the hunt but il always be optimistic, turned into a lovely and relaxing sighting in the end😂 Always appreciate your comments thanks again, until next time!

The process of creating and building the Heartbeat series will always be special to me🥹 I always knew then that it will merely be a stepping stone to something else bud. I miss those days too and it will be part of me and my family forever. Unfortunately it was time to move on. I’m not finished with guiding but the break is good for us 🙏🏻 If I do go back one day for private/freelance guiding or in whatever capacity I give you my word that I will make sure to bring Heartbeat of the Timbavati back to life. Until then, I’m enjoying the Southern triangle of KNP! Cheers for now!🦁🇿🇦

Whooooah! Sakkie & u r at it again- actions, actions & actions- wink, wink 😜 U spoiled your groupie, DuCuSki! Woooooow, can’t take my eyes off the magnificent pride of hunters & huntresses vs. the combative Black Death juxtaposed with the glorious morning sun. It’s nothing compare to the Africa bush. LMAO at your offer of the back end ride with “buffalo dung for the ultimate Lion experience…” L😂L, it sounds ultimately terminal! Yes, actions speak louder than words… I do like “actions” but have been too dormant. Ok, time for high heels & “hunting…” $$$$$$ugar daddy… hell ooooo… Not lion, always ready for Africa & her enigma. Ok, must act. Will check, research & email u. The book- A Tao for the Anthropocene- was written by Dr. S. Miles. I edited it. The book is more of a disquisition- a short, sweet & nice reading. You’ll enjoy reading the subject matter. Did mention u to him. He’d be delighted to know u reading, reviewing it. He did go on a Migration Safari in TZ many moons ago. Oh thanks for the compliment on my writing. Let’s collaborate to tell inspiring stories from the bush. Be a voice. Give something good of ourselves to others… Can’t wait to see your “personal favorite” in the next Epi- with one cub in tow? 😜 Ok, Sakkie, until then…💕 (Ps: so sad to hear about a Skorro male loosing his life. It’s a brutal existence for a male lion. Wondering if the most Mayanbula lionesses & their cubs are still round?)

🤯🤯🤯 Wow...I can confidently say this video will be the best part of my entire week. Love when the manes start coming it....says a new boss is brewing. I wonder if the buff's on lookout duty that night were either in top form or didn't see it coming. Amazing timing seeing them cross the road with the lion watching. Your still photographs are beautiful and a great addition. Do you sell them? What an amazing day you had. I bought Aardvark to Zebra last week....waiting on its arrival. I was in the Kalahari when I heard that news. It’s sad bud. A wild male lions life is so short compared to those who n live in captivity. They live dangerously without fear. It was good seeing him in his prime and I still feel honoured that I could have been there to experience their reign. Including the Thanda impis in the Manyelethi, the Nharhu and the Sohobele boys in the Timbavati and many others that passed through I had the privilege of following It’s been one heck of a ride Nelson!

Hey Willie! It was great having them static next to the road. I’m looking forward to our time together but we shouldn’t jinx it😂 let’s put our focus on leopard or secretary birds and the lions will come naturally! Even me, I’ve had a few cat free days now but despite that the time spent driving and searching is so very stimulating! There is only traffic at sightings but the in between milling about can go for long periods with only the odd vehicle driving past. It’s magic and I feel lucky that I have this privilege living here in Marlothpark so close to the park. I’ve been lucky to spend 4 days with Kevin Richardson in the Timbavati working on a project together on the wild predators and the aim was to find white lions but never succeeded. The time together was memorable but also funny because the man loves his banter and jokes! The real lion whisperer 🦁 Il try my best bud! Until next time, cheers for now!🇿🇦✊

@@cs-wildcam Hi again Chris you know i was going to ask you if you lived in Komati or Marloth but you just confirmed it . I love Marloth was going to buy some property there but Wifey dont like the place .Yeah Kevin is my hero in what he is doing with his Lions , i think he is a bit nuts but i am sure it helps 😃man him hanging out with the Hyenas and all . Talking about white Lions we never found Casper near Satara and also the famed road S100 never lived up to its name for us .We are really excited to meet up with you in October and NOOOO!!!!!! i am sure that the trip will not jinx our sighting experiences . My wife says my silver/grey Landy always chase the animals away , but proved her wrong when we used her car once ..Have a lekker week and keep on Lioning ( is there such a word ) 🤣.

Thats so sad, not good statistics at all. It just seems all the hard work that people have done, what has happened its like its not working in the favor of our big cats? Where have we gone so wrong? Thats why i made the comment about we are not promised our wildlife nor our we promised tomorrow. I also said somewhere that as far as helping the lions we need to do what we can if it is an easy fix because the harder fixes we are still working towards them with not so good results with the Tb. Until we are able to do the hard fixes then we might want to concentrate on the easy ones. Maybe they need to rethink the no intervention policies, just a thought? Thank you for all you do to bring us Kruger around the world. Much love and respect from North Carolina to you. Untill next time 🥂.
@cs-wildcam
@cs-wildcam 4 ай бұрын
Agree with you Buff, it is sad. The stats not good at the moment but with the persistent conservation efforts of good people that care. It WILL pick up. Already seeing a difference if you look at the current population in the KNP. I trust the process and will leave it in their very capable hands. If you want you could perhaps contact Sanparks and ask. It’s completely out of my control and I’ve accepted that. With much respect, from a vibrant KNP with so much potential. 🥂
@buffiesilver
@buffiesilver 4 ай бұрын
@@cs-wildcam really, well that says enough for me, if you can see a difference for the better, I trust your words. I believe you, and I hope it continues to get better and better for our sake and the sake of all wildlife. That's all that matters to me. We need our wildlife in a balance that sometimes can be a bit tricky to get right. Thank you for settling my mind on this subject. Much appreciated with respect.
@cs-wildcam
@cs-wildcam 4 ай бұрын
I thought you were referring to the non intervention strategy in only the KNP Buff. The overall population decline of lions in Africa is real yes. But that is to do with loss of habitat, poaching because of trade in various reasons and killing because of human and wildlife conflict over loss of livestock . Different topic. Poverty in a 3d world continent is the major issue here. And the only way that can stop is to change perspective and create awareness. Non intervention in only the KNP lets the natural processes continue and the predators control their own numbers like it was before our existence. So my views on non intervention is with Sanparks because the lion population in KNP is stable and that’s great for the long term. My bad, mis understanding.
