Ha ha great view from the bottom. That is an early rise but a must to see the sun rise. Wow not the safest hike though. The city glowing before the sun is so amazing. Totally worth it, great time lapse.

I need to visit Cape Town. I have only done a night hike once and I hated it, granted it was along the coast with a bunch of headland crossings where we kept stepping in tidepools. I think this would be better. :) Thanks for sharing.

Wait, what's this? two videos in two weeks?! are you guys back for good? Dang, that hike is pretty dark. seems kind of dangerous to be hiking at night, especially holding on to the chains by the cliff. great view tho!! cool time lapse of the clouds.

Wow, what an amazing feeling it must be to see the sunrise from famous Lion's Head. We truly miss Capetown and would love to visit it again. Just curious if people hike to the top of Table Mountain to see the sunrise. Is if ever possible?

It is. Cape Town is simply amazing. We've only been gone for less than two months and we already want to go back haha... I think it's possible but it's a longer hike, so not sure if people really do it...

first of all .... YAY, YOU'RE BACK ! :D ..The hike looks awesome, I really missed out on that - When I come back to Cape Town I really need to do this - the view over the glowing city is just amazing and the sunrise is incredible! Worth a hike! :)

Yes, it's an absolute must... It took us nearly 3 months to do it though haha :D It really is an amazing view and worth every drop of sweat :) And thanks... :) Yes, kind of back haha

That sunrise with those swirling clouds.... simple stunning! Never seen the hike up Lions head in the dark though... I feel like we'd be brave enough to do it... we'll see when we finally get out there! Haha Was is pretty easy, even in the dark?

Yes, according to other hikers this was a pretty special sunrise :) It's a fairly easy hike, but definitely is harder in the dark, when you don't know where to go. But sooooo worth it :)

Brave doing that in the dark, even with flashlights. I think I woulda fell somewhere and busted my butt. Amazing view though!
