I Will Tell You My Personal Experience On ‘WHY NOT TO VISIT NATIONAL PARKS/ZOO/SANCTUARY’ In Feb. This Year I Visited ‘Lucknow Zoo’ I Was Amazed With The Beauty And Variety Of Animals In The Zoo-Birds-Deer’s-Hippo’s-Zebra-Tigers-Lions And Even White Tiger! I was Exploaring The Place for A Whole Day-Aquariums-Chimpanzee’ etc. Clicked Many Pictures And Also Had A Great Time With Friends! But While I Was Leaving The Park I felt A Bit Hollow From Within I Didn’t Know Why. I was Feeling Very Low And Sad! I didn’t Eat anything nor was I talking to anybody, when I reached my room I was lying on my Bed Alone and I got Flashback Of Those Animals- I could See The Sorrow On Those Animals Faces(People will say, How can You Make Out sadness from an Animals Face-But I Felt it) The Monkeys-Tigers-Lions we’re just lying in their cages and People around the cages kept calling them, making Noises Etc The Animals were so annoyed with all of that noises and callings that they were unresponsive and habitual to it! I felt very Very ‘GUILTY’ A Zoo A National Park A Bird Sanctuary An Aquarium All These Places Are Never A Happy Place! That Day I Promised Myself That I’ll Never In My Life Visit Any Of These Places-And I Won’t Even Encourage anyone to do so! I repeat I’m Not Against Prasad Dada (I’m A Proud Member Of UIC Family) But Speaking Out What I Feel Is A Thing I’ve Learned From Prasad Dada Himself (I Hope Prasad Dada Respects My Opinion) #UICFAM #UIC

Aarey milk colony is a pristine landscape just like the sgnp. Not only does it support different species of trees(flora, but also various fauna(living life) these stats will make you believe that Aarey is REALLY the deal, and some of them are endemic species(found nowhere else in the world) we can't really afford to lose this natural beauty we have been granted on the cost of some stupid development. Why don't these politicians and government authorities develop infrastructure on barren,empty lands,dumping grounds. Why do we interfere with the wild and natural life. Aarey’s current biodiversity: 77 different avifauna (birdlife) species 90 different types of spiders 5 species of Tarantula 6 species of scorpions 86 species of butterflies - Plain tiger, striped tiger, common crow, chocolate pansy, common mormon to name a few 6 species of venomous snakes Caecilian, rare amphibian discovered at the interiors of Aarey colony Various species of frogs Indian jackal,wild boars,indian palm squirrel,rusty spotted cat, indian civet,fox And the magestic LEOPARD!! The locals (Adivasis) have been surviving/ coexisting with these wild animals and are protesting against this car shed development plan for the metro too. They are uneducated still they believe this project will harm the beauty of there forests and risking 3500 trees will be a threat to the wildlife there. Then why can't we understand this fact. Are we so stupid/ignorant?? Or human centric choices have dominated us. When i went to lion safari around 10 years back i saw around 10 lions, also they were not in cage that time as they are now they were roaming freely. That time around 2-3 lions came close to our bus. Also we spotted white tiger. Its sad to learn that they do not roam freely now and petition signed. Its just that builder looby is pressurizing govt to cut tress as land cost is high under acquisition Also, private vehicles are likely to banned in national park in few days.
