Lionel is such a legend. I read 'Down the Badger Hole' and was surprised to learn how much of a prolific writer he was. in fact think he holds a record declaring as much! Loved him in Fortean TV, which needs to come back on our screens in some form or other. I think we all enjoy a good mystery!

He was a terrific horror writer but his characters weren't very relatable. Almost always high brow intellectuals or members of the clergy but he based them on people he knew
