I knew Lionel when he was in the start of his career playing fraternity houses on football weekends at Auburn and U of Alabama. I crossed paths with him again when the Commodores played the stadium at 6 Flags over Georgia. Lastly, I drove a truck on the Dancing on the Ceiling tour. Lionel is a class act and a wonderful human being. Much respect!

I saw the Commodores in Meridian, Mississippi, at the Temple Theater in the early 80s. Lord I love his voice! I commented as much on the 25th anniversary of the song for Africa We Are the World on here. He or someone said thank you. He’s a small town boy who made great! I wish he’d write and perform more now.

I’m from Montgomery,Al and in ‘90 or ‘91 I believe I was working at Circuit City for extra Christmas cash … Lionel came in and bought a big screen tv, a vcr, and a camcorder… still have a business card he signed for me 🙌🏼. Was very cool and down to earth.

Lionel Richie is one of the greatest ballad song writers ever and when you have a great singer like Tim McGraw, that makes this onstage performance unforgettable. I wish to have both of their musical and vocal skills.

OMG, this performance is awesome. And these guys sing it so good together. But who would expect anything else than that.

The first concert my parents let me go to, was Lionel Richie. This charismatic man had me convinced he was was singing to me. I mowed the lawn for my Dad for weeks to save enough money for the Dancing on the ceiling concert & bought a long sleeve shirt that I still own today. Watching his baby girls in the audience with so much love in their eyes for their Daddy brought back memories of how I feel about my own Daddy & I recognize that look from my own baby girl when she looks at her Dad.

Tim has recorded some brilliant songs though. Don't Take The Girl, She Never Let's It Go To Her Heart, Just To See You Smile, Please Remember Me, Forget About Us, Grown Men Don't Cry, Red Rag Top, Live Like You Were Dyin, Whiskey And You, and Humble And Kind being just a few.
