This one has been on my short list for a long time. Kept getting bumped down to fomo purchases.. Today is the day.

One of the top knives on my wishlist! Just love the design and it sounds amazing when you deploy it

At first I thought the teletubby tab and the amorphous inlays would bug me but actually this knife has grown on me. Looks great! Thanks MC!

I bought this knife 3 years ago and bought it specifically because it had that top flipper nub, it feels good to flick it open every way and the sound it makes is soooo crisp

liong may’s zulu is still my favorite design from him, this is still an awsome design

I have the new field duty coming and I can't wait to use that bad boy. I feel its one of the greatest edc knives ever made.

Beautiful. I had a Wayne’s World moment here. “She will be mine. Oh yes, she will be mine.” I don’t know why but I fell in love

I was going to buy the 4.0 kuf edc because i thought the 3.0 was too small. When i was looking for one i found a seller on ebay with a few v2 in cf for $350.(3 still available 11-7-21) It came unopened in original packaging. Love it and the sound when you open it with some authority is like no other! I like the spydiechef but on a 1 -10 scale the spydiechef is a 6 and the v2 kuf is a 9. The only thing holding it back is the clip. Its good in the hand but its stiff.

The front flipper tab just puts me off. Nice overall design tho

Love the overall design, but for one glaring flaw. This knife has Kitchen in the name, but has a big complex blade opening to get all gunky and full of food. Still, I like it. If that opening was gone and it was a more stain-resistant steel like VG-10 (which would drop $150 off the price) this thing would sell like crazy, IMO.

I own 2 kuf edc v3's and I agree I would have preferred bronze- phosphor washers instead of bearings. Fit and finish is superb. Minimal, all t8 hardware. Ive taken both apart multiple times. Tolerances are near perfect. It goes back together effortlessly, zero blade play even without the pivot screw in. It's one of the most versatile pocket knives I own, it gets carried a lot. Elmax is a big plus too, great steel choice for this knives intended application. I'm so sick of m390 and s35vn.

I got a KUF 2.0 recently and that tele-tubby flipper tab got deleted so fast. Made the knife 100% better.

This and the Spydiechef. Love em both

Did you notice that the thickness at the pivot is thinner than the bottom of the knife ? This is the only knife i own that is like this and i think it helps with the comfort. And i think if it was just a reote sold knife it probably would of been around 350, but because its a Liong Mah design he bumps that price up quite a bit.

Two questions can that top tab be removed without effecting the knife and does that plunge go past the heel of the edge? The reflections on the video make it almost look that way, which would be very odd.

The backspacer and the bottom part look like they could be used to crush garlic or crack a walnut or something without ruining the blade. There almost curved to a point, like a glass breaker on the bottom of a microtech, except instead of breaking windows, your breaking food related shtuff? I don’t know shit, but it seems like a kitchen utility folder might include food related utilitarian features.

literally the ONLY reason I don't have a KUF is the steel Choice..Elmax makes no sense for a blade that sees a lot of food, I did notice this is M390 with is a solid choice..but at that price..no needs to be the correct steel imo. LC200N, Vanax, Magnacut...these would have all been better.

Prefer the Spydiechef with LC200 for much less money. This Mah looks to have a lot of spots for food to accumulate. The goofy flipper is a non starter.

I want one of these but I am NOT paying more than $100. Please use cheaper materials. Aus10a and g10?

Go look at the crkt tuna. Similar profile, but a little smaller and 8cr.
@Zero_83473 жыл бұрын
@@masemasemasie I see the resemblance, but mah’s design is more suited for kitchen work. The handle doesn’t obstruct any part of the edge from making contact with the cutting board. Even the heel of the blade can touch the board
