You are wrong. The best subjects are those who are willing to submit themselves to an authority. The worst subjects are those who are completely aware of their mind and won't let go of their control to someone else. It has nothing to do with intelligence.
@nebulacrash34166 жыл бұрын
Falling into hypnotic state has nothing to do with intelligence, yes that is true, but maintain the state of relaxation required to be hypnotized does involve intelligence because the subject needs to be able to clearly picture and understand everything the hypnotist is saying without really thinking about it
@fredshustle3237 жыл бұрын
Hypnosis is about your mind being overloaded and being a willing subject. The hypnotist begins by giving the subject instructions on where to stand, etc., which gets him used to following instructions and being compliant. The trance has already begun at that point. His mind is open. By the way, the smarter/more intelligent you are, the more skeptical you are, the easier to put you in trance. Your disbelief just contributes to overloading the mind with input, creating the state of anxiety, which drops you into a trance, which is an escape mechanism.

It's kinda sad that so many people still believe that hypnosis is fake. I'm learning it and already tried it and it worked, it was amazing. Another thing is that hypnosis is not a competition like my mind vs your mind, is more like a cooperation between the subject and the hypnotist to make it work.
@moplygoop854610 жыл бұрын
There is a cascade of people all crying fake! Its real and this gentleman knows this induction inside out. Hes not spent ten minutes learning a technique and then wondering why it doesn't work. Hes spent a lot of time studying and practicing to make this look effortless. and for those that think being mentally strong will prevent you from being hypnotised are missing the concept. being mentally strong has no significance. the only thing the hypnotist has to do, is make you want to be hypnotised. its a call for persuasion or initiation, which has to be done prior to the hypnosis.
@timmytommy29217 жыл бұрын
Yeah, no it's fake. It's a street performance and the guy being hypnotized is an actor.
@velizarmitrev75107 жыл бұрын
But street and stage hypnosis is real. It takes less effort to hypnotize someone than to find and pay an actor that can pretend that he is hypnotized.
@johndough67936 жыл бұрын
Point is,,, it's very fake. No matter how you word it ppl who get "hypnotized" are playing a long and doing it knowingly. When they r in that sleeping trance they are just as awake and aware as they were when they walked in the building. Absolutely no way anyone can be hypnotized. I'm sorry to break ur heart but no one is gonna think a shoe is a phone and, believe they can see Mickey mouse in front of them. It's absolutely sillyb to think otherwise

This is very much real. His way of induction is the long handshake in the beginning. Normally, a handshake lasts for about 5 seconds or so, but David here held on to the guy's hand for a long time. The mind of the other guy is subconsciously thinking that something is wrong since the handshake is taking so long, plus the constant info that David is telling the other guy. All that leads to the other guy's mind to be over occupied. Much like how a computer slows down when you open too many programs or apps. The guy now slowly becomes submissive to the suggestions of David. Also, the hand slowly getting near the face is how David made the guy to close his eyes. I've studied some basic hypnosis and I want to get good at it to help people. And by far based on what I have studied, I can see that David is not fake. This was not staged at all. I was actually smiling all throughout the video because I recognized all the techniques that he used. From the handshake, to the hand thing, to the snapping of the fingers, and the way he talks.

I realized today that this is VERY real. i used to be skeptical about it but i finally decided to test it out after watching my friend get hypnotized. The only catch is, for people like me who find it difficult to empty my mind, it is EXTREMELY hard for me to fall under (most times i just get sleepy). I've still been unable to get hypnotized, but i came really close to it when I tried it today. I started feeling extremely dizzy and i felt like i was leaving my body, but then i freaked out and snapped out of it. I havent been able to get back to that since then. you just have to be REALLY good at concentrating
@HypnoKick7 жыл бұрын
Seoulsista True, to some extent. I’ve hypnotized those with ADD, ADHD, PTSD and more utilizing a variety of techniques. There’s no one specific way to induce hypnosis and that’s enabled me to induce people in simple conversation. All a matter of reading the person and understand how to best accommodate to their personal reactions 🙂
@TracksToRelax10 жыл бұрын
Pretty nice demonstration of the handshake induction. Obviously some imagination "testing" was done prior to what's shown here and this subject had a good ability to use his imagination. Nicely done.

@HypnoKick7 жыл бұрын
Yes, completely, however there’s something everyone must understand. 1) In the beginning, David Hypnotized the young man. Seeing as Hypnosis is simply a state of mental/physical relaxation, it should now make sense why the young man looked so relaxed. 2) When David re-induced the young man, he gave him commands (like stuck feet) which the young man’s ability to follow simple instruction (requiring intelligence) in combination with his ability to make David’s hypnotic commands his reality (requiring imagination), enabled the young man to experience what is known as Hypnotic Phenomenon. So, while we all experience hypnosis on a daily basis, hypnotic phenomena is the next step and often best achieved via a quality Hypnotist one can trust!

More people than you may know tell Hypnotists such as David or myself on a yearly basis. Then again, many of those same people have a misunderstanding as to what all exactly they’re witnessing. For this reason, receiving a first-hand experience yourself always provides a more enlighten perspective. I myself “convert” nonbelievers each year on my tour. Find a hypnotist you respect & can trust to provide you the experience then simply relax & enjoy 🙂

The only thing I have done is helped a few people quit smoking and another guy to be more confident around women. Until 3 days ago. My neighbor who lives downstairs kept telling me that he couldn't be hypnotized so we thought we would test it. I suggested to him that he was my live in butler and gave him 2 chores to do. Make my bed and wash the dishes. I was amazed that he washed every dish and made my bed immediately. Well, that was 3 days ago and he has not left. He has slept on my couch for 3 days and waits for me to get up to make my bed. I can't wake him up and need help. Can anyone help,?
