Predominately taxicabs in New South Wales at that time were Ford Falcons/Fairlanes (occasionally Holdens were used e.g. Caprice/Statesmans)- now are being replaced by Toyota Camrys. In this instance, at 2:11, yes it was a Nissan Pulsar, but remember taxicabs can be personal cars of the owner. Whilst it had been badged in the taxicab livery, it is not hired out by the taxicab company, rather the livery was applied. This, however, reduced costs for the taxicab company but was slightly disadvantageous for the driver as he had to pay own running costs.
