It was a really good game, definitely a nail biter. I would have to say that the defense for both teams really stood up but the offense for the cowboys as usual definitely failed lol ultimately, they did enough to win the game. that last call at the end, I'm not sure exactly what was going on but what I do know is that the Cowboys allowed the Lions to get down the field and score a touchdown in less than 2 minutes in the fourth quarter. so I think the Cowboys lost the game but won.

Detroit designed that play to cause confusion, unfortunately it was the referees that were confused. You don’t need three people running at a referee, telling them that one is eligible. They had three chances to convert the two point conversion and failed all three times. They should’ve ran the football.

I like how everyone is saying the lions won that game.. Meaning the Cowboys couldn't have gotten 30 yards, in 23 seconds WITH a timeout, and one of the best receivers in the league. The thing is, there were MULTIPLE Penalties on that play. 1. Illegal touching 2. Illegal formation (#70 was uncovered) 3. Ineligible man down field. But, the most blatant penalty call was that Tripping Call on Dallas, when it was actually supposed to be on Detroits A. Hutchinson. HOW DO YOU CALL THAT ON THE WRONG TEAM?!?!?!

None of those are penalties if the ref gets the correct guy reporting. Decker reported, not Skipper. The Ref blew that. If Decker reported as eligible, and they line up exactly as they did, then there is no illegal formation, no illegal touching, no inelligible downfield. I agree about the tripping call, that was missed, though you could argue there was holding there...

What the media is failing horribly at saying is that even if Decker was somehow not flagged for illegal touching he would still gate flagged for illegal formation because the Lions lined up Illegally and the Defense is supposed to be notified of who is the eligible receiver and they announced it over the PA system and Dan Campbell admitted he knew 70 was called the eligible guy! They tried to cheat and failed and that is exactly what the NFL said.

The Lions were winning that game, and they let the Cowboys come from behind to take the lead. And they should have kicked the field goal to tie the game instead of going for another 2 point conversion.

As a Rams fan, I went through this for 5 years with Goff. He is a pretty good QB unless he is in a clutch situation. So many times I saw Goff do what he did at the end of the Cowboys game. That's why the Rams got Stafford. Stafford with throw into also, but as we saw during their Superbowl run, Stafford and Kupp put on one of the greatest clutch runs I've ever seen. All the way through the playoffs. Hopefully he can do it 1 more time.
