Lions QB Jared Goff on the team's win over Tampa Bay

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff spoke to the media on Sunday night following the team's divisional playoff win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Goff played another incredible game to set the Lions up for an NFC Championship match against the San Francisco 49ers.

This guy - Goff - was a guy that went to the Super Bowl, and then, his team - TRADED him away. Most people thought that Detroit LOST that trade - Goff-for-Stafford. Stafford walked into a team that had already BEEN to the Big Game, and he won! GREAT for Stafford. He deserved that ring. But, Goff - he got to go into a new organization...one that had more than a half-century of disappointment. And he has them going to the NFC Championship! Talk about "Accomplishment"?

By the way, I was just reading about Dan Campbell. He grew up in a small Texas community that only had a 6 team football program. His parents let him stay with an Aunt so he could compete. He was such a dominant athlete that his TRACK coach had to tell him "you can't be in EVERY event". He was a high-jumper and a middle-distance runner. When his coach asked him to throw, he threw the Discus 179 - as a FRESHMAN! Nobody came close. Dan Campbell is a BADASS!

AG defense is top 5 against the run and they have improved in other areas compared to last season. Clearly they're both doing something right since we're going to an NFC Championship game. Unfortunately, having Cam at CB is a liability that we need to work on in the off season. Plus having Houston and CJ out for most of the season were big hits on our defense as well not to mention other injuries.
