what a big, beautiful pride! I hope the cubs get enough to eat. Many cubs starve because they can’t compete with the adults at a kill. There are many hungry mouths in this pride. The cubs are adorable. 💕🦁💕

0:55 momma, or aunt, sleeping and cub jumps on her without complaint. Amazing how the cubs have carte blanche with the mothers, and suckle at will with mother giving full access and lifting leg if need be. Just amazing mothering, and from a ferocious lion.

My Favourite pride the Kambulas 3 beautiful cubs...playing on the sand with there Mum...also rangers that clip later of the lions crossing the water...awesome really was...and you could herd the water sound as the paws went through it....that was some special clip so tranquil wow....thankyou so very much rangers much appreciated...take care!

it's too too cute when it's small 😍 and beautiful when it's big 😉 when I see what it's like to pass at the Masai Mara (those four lions to kill and Hyenes) 😒, I wonder how we can do that .... without all these animals it will be more the savannah but the desert .... but with all these little ones arriving, the older ones may have to leave in a short time, I hope they will be able to stay as long as possible with pride .... very nice pride and the Bboys are great 💕 nice video thank you 👍

Usually when they start eating meat and can handle more roughness from the rest of the pride. Around 3 months old. It of course depends on the mother.

Thanks so much.....love this!!! I'm curious as to how the prides and coalitions are named.....I know some of the coalitions are named after the pride they come from, but what about the others? Who names them and how do they choose the name?

Hi Amy. Yes, some places do name males after the pride that they came from but we do not - it doesn't really work because prides will produce several coalitions over time... We name both prides and coalitions after the areas where they first become territorial on our reserve. If prides or coalitions are already dominant before shifting their territory onto MalaMala then we keep whatever name they were given by the other reserve.

New cubbies n the crew at the waterhole doesn't get better than that! 👐 not trying to promote another site on yours but saw a killer vid on another site you might want to consider building a cage. It was half thick Plexiglas n steel that humans could sit in and take pics safely in the middle of a pride of wild lions ! It was very cool.
