Say what ever you want about egon seconds, the rebels’ discipline was appalling. High tackles, offsides, side entries. They were a disgusting team today and deserved to lose.
@bennierheeder70155 жыл бұрын
Jamie Jenkinson it’s hard to say what was more appalling. The rebels discipline or Egon Seconds handling of the ill discipline. He is not super rugby quality.
@andrewmarkmostert70615 жыл бұрын
I agree 1st half he missed so much The rebels only got momentum because of him making the mistakes but also lions made some dumb mistakes. But egon seconds can ref on this level if it werent for the lions up the game and didnt play the ref but the ball thry would've lost a game that they werent suppose to. Thanx egon seconds
@bennierheeder70155 жыл бұрын
L JB you can hate as much as you want on Elton. Some of it maybe even a little justified. However, saying Egon Seconds handling of the game was fine, is asinine, to say the least. You bring all your rugby “knowledge “ to null, when you back this refs performance on the day. Have a lekker dag.

Good to see the Aussie sides are competing again. If they could cut out the ball tampering &such, that would be great 👍🏻😉

It's over confidence from Quade Cooper that causes him to not think clearly and do imbecilic things at times like today. He is a gifted baller, but has an undisciplined nature.

Absolute Masterclass by Quade Cooper, first that 10 on 10 Violence, followed by mastered basics of passing and following the ball ( supporting running to finish off one of the best team tries i've seen this year).

Well first half the rebels scored some soft tries and quick mistakes of the lions. Egon seconds did make some questionable decisions but 2nd half the lions change the game and up the tempo and let the ball do the talking rebel. With the rebels discipline from the start of the game they didnt deserve to win. Well done to the lions with a awsome come back and this with good character Lions4ever

at 5:10 marx clearly participates in the tackle and never releases. Ball carrier was never given a chance to set the ball and should be a penalty against the lions rather than a try going the other way...

And the rebels should of got a red card much earlier in the game, they were warned several times for ill discipline and got away with it, the Lions definitely deserved to win. To come back from 5 - 33 is a great win for sure!!!

Fergus, have you ever been in Johannesburg on a Saturday? I support my team, but if I feel the need to go muck about in a warzone, I'll play Call of Duty
@vik47415 жыл бұрын
@@iwazhere7077 oh stop lying. This "warzone" thing you speak of is just a dumb excuse. If there's a big local derby, people do go to the stadium, so where's this warzone that you speak of then?? The super rugby in all countries is not doing well with filling up the stadiums. They need to rethink their format and find ways to bring people to the stadium
@JPTheron885 жыл бұрын
it is hard to compare the number of people to most other stadiums, Ellis Park is massive where as the NZ stadiums are small 16 000 @Ellis Park seems empty whereas in NZ the stadium looks Full. Ellis Parks capacity 62 567, Christchurch stadium capacity 18 600.
