They’re not looking to get injured in the process. Lions are much stronger but leopards are quicker. They know it’s possible to lose an eye or something, it’s just not worth it.

Perhaps cameraman was not interested what happened next and they left and drove to hotel to have a lunch and couple of beers . Or more likely : they recorded how lions killed the leopard and they think to show this is not appropriate. Which is kinda stupid because in wild nature animals kill other animals all the time. For example leopard kills lion cubs if he finds their den and lioness is missing. There are even human killing leopards. It happened more in last century, but even now in 21st century hundreds of human victims in India are claimed to be killed by leopards. Noone really knows how accurate these numbers are. Leopard is not your cute purring home cat and never will.
