Porcupine with attitude! It didn't even try to change course, just stood there until the lions went away. Love it.

This porcupine is pretty badass and has some stones to stand up to that crew of lions. Nicely done.

Lions looked more curious about it, rather than in predatory mode.

Yeah, but it fetches views and clicks, likes when it's like that, clickbait. The cats were just "hmm, meh, fuck it". Maybe we'll eat it but those sharp thingy, fuck it.
@walexia10 жыл бұрын
they were looking for it's weak spot, coz they prob know how loud the last lion screamed when it pounced on a porcupine in defense mode.If anything they were in smart predatory mode.Those spikes are barbed so they don't come out easy at all.
@AnGhaeilge10 жыл бұрын
walexia It's hardly worth the effort for the amount of meat that would have to be shared amongst the pride.

The people filming should have been using night vision equipment instead of spotlights since lions do their best hunting in the dark.

Was the porcupine able to shoot those quills or were the cats just bumping into them?
@benjaminswanson158510 жыл бұрын
I believe they have tiny hooks on the ends of the quills so when the porcupine slaps the heck out of a potential predator, they stick. And then the porcupine says "NOT TODAY!"
@geirbroden474910 жыл бұрын
They shoot them! trust me...

@bonifaciodachuva10 жыл бұрын
they do not shoot, its a passive defence, but the quills release very easily and any slightly touch can get dozen of quills sticked to the potential threat

Isaac Hill Wrong to an extent. According to an article in the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, at the end of the Holocaust, the British addressed the problem of displaced European-Jews by migrating them to a small parcel of land in the north. The excessive migration is what propelled the conflict and motivated expansion efforts.

The lions are obviously hungry otherwise they wouldn't mess with a porcupine and some asshole is there with a spotlight, filming it. It's like "the prime directive" (do no harm) but you can't help ignore the camera clicks, the lights, and the "oh my's" from the recorders.

@thetruthrevealed44510 жыл бұрын
I don't think these lions were really trying to kill it otherwise it would've been dead already. Instead i think they were just curious. Single leopards kill porcupines all the time and they're way smaller than lions but then again, leopards are just way better than lions.
