I own the B40. What I like about the B41 is the improved sheath and also the handle apears to be shaped so that more of the tang is exposed at the end. Since that area is used to strike the ferro rod larger is better! thanks for the review

For the people who dont want a round spine. The glasbreaker back is amazing sharp and can scrape a firesteel like crazy so dont worry just buy this amazing knife for the price.

The sleipner is a great steel. Holds a great edge... not the worst to sharpen (not the best either) and really tough with a degree of corrosion resistance. A much better steel than 1095, vg10, 14c28n, a2, 01 etc etc. I have had no issues with this steel at all and I think it was an inspired choice by lionsteel. Many other makers are now also using sleipner and its qualities seem to appealing more to custom makers.

It all depends what you want and environment. I love G10 if I'm in a desert setting. Micarta is awesome if you have lots of water around you like creeks, lakes, and rivers or more rain. I like micarta also more on fixblades. G10 well is one of my favorites for pocket knives.

The old one had sometimes issues with the loose retention on the sheath. I think they’ll fixt it with the b41 and made it a lot tighter. Better i think because loosing a knive isn’t my favorite thing..

Thanks for doing this review. I've been eying it up myself. I do wish it had a sharp spine for scraping, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I'm not as hard core about that as many others into the "bushcraft" scene. I'm still not sure if I'll buy one or not .It's a good looking knife, but I really don't need another bush knife. I have 10 "bushcraft" knives already, as well as a couple dozen other various fixed blades. However, like most other knife nuts, that never stopped me from buying "yet another damn knife" as my wife calls them, 😂

I have the T5, m4 & m2 m4 is my absolute favourite knife. Your lad my like the m2 it’s an unusual shape, and small(ish) handle. I’ve not had any problem with the sheath other than there’s no option for a dangler sheath. Love the video & ive subbed

I'm looking at this knife vs. the M4, which would you choose and why as an all around outdoor knife? Both look really appealing to me but unfortunately there's nowhere in my area where I can handle them in person. Thanks!

I had the same problem initially but it broke in fast make sure the knife is all the way into the sheath but mine was fine after about a week
@darrenlamb56403 жыл бұрын
Theyre all like that. You have to really stretch it... i mean really stretch it and eventually it just about closes. Once youve had closed once it seems to get a lot easier after that.

Which one is thinner behind the edge, the M4 or the B41? Thanks in advance
@markw73034 жыл бұрын
Yeah which?
@Kevinclearysharpstuff4 жыл бұрын
I don't have them both in hand right now but I think the m4 would be thinner although I could be wrong
@darrenlamb56403 жыл бұрын
The b41 is actually thinner behind the edge. The m4 is pretty thick. I have both and from what i can tell the b41 is thinner.

I can't believe you are letting a child handle that knife like he is doing. What would he do with a pistol? For God sake teach him how to safely handle a knife BEFORE he cuts your arm or finder off.
