I'm not a Millwall supporter, I support Newcastle, but this was a smashing interview. Terry comes across as a real genuine bloke who knew his limitations but played the game and enjoyed his time. Well done.

From 1963 only missed 6 Home games at The Old Den. Over 20 years later still miss that passion and atmosphere on top of the pitch terribly. No wonder we wemt 59 Home Games unveaten between 64/66 which broke the Football League record. After Harry Cripps and Barry Kitchener Terry was my favourite Lionheart, Sorry it all seems so insipid, by comparison now.

I remember Terry Hurlock,in as much as they always spoke being a Tough player, but I can honestly say I never saw much of him(nowadays there is so much Football coverage)I remember the Long Hair and his Tackling..But the Interview was great..Honest and down to earth..I was born in Hackney,Spurs Fan all my life..But after watching this interview I'm now a Terry Hurlock Fan..When i played Football,i always enjoyed the Physical combative side but still attempting to play Football...Great interview, nothing like all the Prententious, contrived Bullocks u see now...Saint&Greavesie..The Big Match..He"s got a few Yrs on me Mr Hurlock, but I can def relate....Impressive..

He was a hard player every team needs an ENFORCER , sounds genuinely an honest player who new his position as a rangers supporter he was a joy to have , as for MCCARTHY , heard stories from different players how he has a difficult guy to play under , it's a bit rich not giving him another season at Millwall with or without Terry the place is mental

McCarthy is not the brightest and therefore in management, he was limited. His understanding of psychology was zero, so he struggled to get the best out of players who had a brain and could think for themselves. Give him 11 players with limited mental capacity and tbf he could get the best out of them. But he never knew how to manage upwards and this was proved with Ireland and the FAI. Basically he was Mr Average as a player and Manager. Absolutely fine in lower divisions 👍

A Rangers legend! If you get tore in the Gers love you. Terry would tackle a lion a tiger & a bear. Nowadays its a wee boys game and their all pinkies with fancy hairdos and attoos and wouldn't go near a stuffed lion.

100% mate. Different game now. Canny fart without getting a yellow now. Personally I love to see a player getting the boot in but uv got to be able to play a bit as well to back it up. Big Terry was one of them. Plus a mad Barnet haha class 👏
