Totally agree with you. He should not feel any pressure, that's wrong. Videos are just a bonus, what happens happens. The important thing is to care for the animals, not to "make something happen" to please supporters. Hard to explain the awsome feeling you get from learning from a man who has this deep understanding and love for all the animals.

Love these interactions with the lions that shows the relationship Kevin has with them. It's even more important now as you can see they're slowing down, and visibly see signs of aging. It looks like both Icarus and Meg are losing a bit of muscle tone in their hind quarters. Time is precious.

I have been watching Kev and his "kids" from the beginning, when there were just a few hundred followers. Such joy, and such sadness, watching each milestone for his beloved babies. Meg and Amy in their babyhood, Vyatse, Livy and Ginny's journey, Thor, George and Yami, all of them - so many changes, loss and gain, but, my oh my!! Kevin, you have taken the steps you were meant to take in life and they lead you to where you are now. Here is a question for you, or maybe just a thought. Do you ever take a moment and look at what you have achieved? From a humble beginning, with years of hard work and sheer determination, you have educated, encouraged and brought happiness to people all over the world. That's huge! It's all because of your love for animals and that you are willing to take us along for the ride. It's a privilege to be Part of The Pride. Although the enrichment walk didn't go to plan, something better happened. The footage of you with Meg laying together in a shady spot is to be treasured. At one point, Meg rolls in your direction and looks at you, that moment for me, has time stand still and my heart melts. The mutual love and respect between the two of you is precious. Meg is the reason I started to advocate even more to get rid of public petting zoos. They are not to be on display period. I love all of your videos but these special ones are my favest. Just a simple video of you chilling with Meg is more special to me than any other. It brought tears to my eyes when she closed her eyes and just soaked in your cuddles. She truly is a very very special lioness. I wonder if she now and then misses Amy.
