After months of consideration, test ride and checking online reviews, today I bought my LAST/FINAL bicycle (Brompton C line Mid bar Explore in matt black). For me, it’s easier to use only two wheel (easy to turn/change direction while pushing it). Will be quite stable when folded if installed the roller extension.

As an owner of the former Top version (Till the new titanium bike) 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton I have had much fun in modifying my bike to an even lighter version. As a Dane I have got one with mudguards but I have changed parts to carbon and titanium for a lighter weight, for now 9,35 kilo, and I have a carbon handlebar + parts to be changed on my brakes and mudguards. Mudguard clamps to carbon and holders from alu, which will give, I hope, the next 0,5 kilo, also with some extra rest titanium bolts for my brakes, to be changed. A little down to the pure Titanium models 7,45 kilo, but + two mudguards and with only 4 gears, not that much. Finn. Denmark

Thanks for sharing. Titanium and carbon are super lightweight but will crack if not careful especially use it on trifold bikes. For racing bike competition, carbon fiber is a good choice with sponsorship and only used once. @@GIBSONGASPER123 As an old man I sold my extreme 6,8 kg LOOK carbon racing bike, with a full, old timer, 9 speed Shimano Dura-Ace, after many years of hard use! A carbon bike will last if treated right! I would like to change my Brompton frame to a titanium version, but it is very expensive, and most produced til now, isn't up to my 100 kg, except if bought from Russia, and no one deals with Russia any more!!! 😁

@@Andrew-uh9xs My 3sixty got two "upgrade videos". On the purchase date i upgraded the parts. 2 weeks later upgraded to 4speed. Brompton already upgraded the rolling wheel plus extender, kickstand, lighter/smaller pedals and headlight with mounting. Other accessories such as handlebar grips and saddle will buy online.

I saw another of your video where your brother-in-law upgraded his superlight to titanium seatpost and handlebar, H&H suspension block and aluminum front block, these are very good upgrades IMO. @@Andrew-uh9xs no intention to upgrade the crank/chainring as 50 to 52t not much different. 50t is sufficient for me, brompton wide ratio hub gear +2 the speed is good enough. I upgraded 3Sixty because the original chainring only 48t, so I changed it to 52t.

@@thomaschew5012 Buy the bike that you can afford (too expensive you will feel stressful when using it: worry bike drop or knock onto something etc)and buy the one suit you (portable to carry into public transport, house storage space, the weight etc). Liaoge666 $666 is value for money. Hard to find trifold bike with that price. Go and test it and good luck on your purchase 😊 note: Brompton next year price increase.

Ive own few bromptons.. Honestly if u not after the brand name brompton, Aceoffix still the best deal for now.. Cheap , lightweight. And nothing much to upgrade. Down side for me is only the folding not as smooth as B..

How do you compare ride experience between 3sixty and c line brompton?

3Sixty no wide ratio gear hub. Not as fast as brompton. Both are 349 trifold bike not much difference in ride quality (both needs to change better handlebar grips, saddle). Build quality Brompton is better. Riding 3Sixty for daily commute is stress free (no need to worry scratches, stolen).

Depending on your budget and do you need a small folding bike to carry to public transport or for limited storage space. 3Sixty more comfortable than brompton and cheaper. Brompton is well made with good parts and branded. liaoge 451 is very fast , lighter than 3sixty/brompton and value for money bike. If you no need small folding size go for $780 451 which is more stable and fast. Note: liaoge 451 with hydraulic disc brakes 👍

Hi Raymond , do note 3sixty , Pikes, Royale and Garcia all the rear triangle cannot upgrade to titanium as it only 59mm . Only Aceoffix is 79mm (same as brompton) So i bought an aceoffix so if i have $$ next time can upgrade titanium parts to make bicycle lighter. just for sharing :)

I believe many brompton die-hard fans will go through this process: 1. Buy a C-line brompton 2. Upgrade the brompton with good-to-have parts (wheel extender, lights, qr pedals, ez wheels, kickstand, suspension block) 3. Upgrade the brompton further with nice-to-have parts (titantium parts) 4. Buy a P-line brompton 5. Repeat the above process

Singapore E-bike needs to register and only can ride on the road or bicycle path (footpath cannot use) and have to charge the battery. Too troublesome for me.
