@@Aysa_400 Because he always misplaced his anger and exploded on undeserving people. I could understand to a certain extent when he was a teenager, but he was too grown to still be blaming Fiona for all his problems. He's so smart and yet he barely ever holds himself accountable. Everything in his mind is Fiona's fault and he always blows up at her even though all she ever wanted was the best for him and she didn't even want to reap the benefits, she just wanted Lip to beat the statistics. The only blow up he had towards Fiona that was ever justified is when Liam got into her drugs as a baby/toddler. She always supported them and did what she could, but when she was going through something Lip was the first one to want her out of the house. He treated Fiona like she was the problem whenever something happened even though she's the only reason they're not floating around foster care or dead.

That's why he stood up her for her at her wedding when Frank was making a scene, that's why he picked her up when she was stranded at that gas station, that's why Lip gets sober and tries to get his life together while Fiona is spiraling downhill and not giving a fuck and getting his sponsoree drunk. They're both messed up characters with their own faults, but Lip never went off on her without reason. He was there for her when it counted. They always had each other's back even though they fought a lot. That's family.

@@SpiderMonkeyMan_80085 except for the fact that for most of it he DIDN'T have her back. You can name a few instances while shes been taking care if them basically her whole life. How was she supposed to know that was his sponsoree? A lot of the things he blames her for are his fault or nobodies fault. The difference between lip and Fiona is that Fiona has a psychological reason to act that way. Lip just doesn't listen. She never got to be a kid because she was stuck taking care of her siblings. So adult who never got the chance to be a kid either oftentimes, end up being way too serious or way too childish because they never got to be that way. So whenever she has even the slightest bit of weight off of her shoulders, she's gonna want to do her own thing and oftentimes it can be childish and irresponsible, but it' it makes sense. Lip is just someone who barely knows how to take accountability for his own actions coupled with anger issues. A lot of the things he goes through are his own fault.

@@hwanggucci6340 The same argument can be made against Fiona. Lip has psychological issues too. Everyone in that family does. That excuse can only go so far though. She's had multiple chances to leave and live a life that focuses on her, which she ends up ultimately doing, but up until then she chose to take on all that responsibility. If she can take credit for her choice to take responsibility, she must also be held accountable when she acts irresponsibly, and she acts irresponsibly quite a lot throughout the whole show. Making Fiona blameless for a "psychological reason" would be like blaming Frank's horrible parenting on his alcoholism as if he can't choose to quit drinking and be a good dad. Excuses can be made for everybody, but Fiona still fucks up just as much if not more than anybody else in the family, and Lip calls her out on it.
