Actual digestion of lipids doesn't occur in mouth Lingual lipase originate from the gland at back of tongue which acts on lipid substrate in the stomach in acidic medium And also digestion of lipids in stomach is almost negligible due to low pH However in case of infants milk fat can be hydrolyzed by gastric lipase in some extent bcoz pH of stomach infant is close to neutral

Lingual lipase is secreted in saliva but it gets activated in the stomach so digestion of fats starts in the stomach not the mouth.

Lingual lipase kbhi digestion nhi krta fat ka... Kyonki mouth ka pH 6.8 hota h or lingual lipase ko.. work krne ke liya 4.5 pH chahiye.... To fat ka digestion stomach mei hi hota h lingual lipase or gastric lipase ke through or fir further digestion hota h...

I said in carbohydrate digestion video that stomach contain no enzyme for carbohydrate digestion And in lipid digestion video , there is conversation of lipid digestion, so i said stomach contain enzyme for lipid digestion Overall analysis is that stomach contain no enzyme for carbohydrate digestion but it contain enzyme for lipid digestion
