I first discovered Liquicity and the drum and bass community through the 2012 yearmix. Being from the U.S. where DnB isn't as big of a deal, I've always loved staying up to date via Liquicity. Come 2017, I had the chance to travel to Europe where I made sure to go out of my way to make it to the summer festival. Liquicity has been so amazing; I feel so welcome!! I can’t seem to be able to find a bad song here, yet Pull the trigger will always be the highlight of the year for me. I can listen to that when I’m sad and relate to the lyrics, and I can listen to it when I’m happy and relate to the energy of the drop. It feels like Maduk has achieved the perfect balance there between happiness and sadness, the light and the dark, the ying and the yang. Keep being amazing! I'm so late to the party. I started listening to DNB after a KZbinr I watched used FS All This Time in his video. After 3 months of searching I found it, and was immediatelly hooked into Fox. From there, I saw Knowhow on Liquicity. I thought they must be chill, and searched around the channel a bit. 3-5 months later I wached a DNB mix by Redemptive using mostly 2018 DNB. That was the first time I really knew I liked DNB. This mix brings me back to the first days of me listening to DNB. Thank you Maduk.

What a year! I've met many artists and many wonderful people, making new friends from all around the world! I've been in the Liquicity festival first time and had the best time in my life. The community is definitely special, there is nothing to compare with, the air is filled with happiness and love. I'm really thankful to had enough motivation to hop on a plane and go there, it was a life changing experience and I would love to come again to the Galaxy of Dreams (and lines) next year. I was a really anti-social and anxious type of guy so you can imagine what a pressure I had before that, but now I'm doing so much better and have so much more courage to show up in these kind of events. See you there in the next summer!
