You can also add turmeric to give it a warmer tone, and turmeric is also good for your skin.

Just a tip, You should try using iron oxides like red and yellow to get more of a colour to it, I make my own makeup and I tried it with cocoa powder but it was too ashy, also add some titanium dioxide for more coverage 😊

Friendly FYI to everyone! You shouldn't use any metal (spoons, bowls, measuring cups, etc) when using bentonite clay. It is a "magnetic" type of clay and the metal actually neutralizes it so you lose all the good properties.
@thumbi818 жыл бұрын
OMG! You're not to put the clay in any metal containers!!! The clay detoxifys your body and that includes metals. Once the clay is wet it becomes charged and absorbs it all and will bind to the clay If it touches metal; bowl, spoon, etc. once that happens your clay looses its effectiveness. Hope this helps. I LOVE you girls to smittens, but please be careful and fully research. Maybe even add to the description below the video ppl avoid all metals when using the clay. Glass and porcelain re always the idea along with bamboo spoons. Hope you don't get offended. I say this with a lot of love.

is zinc oxide necessary? can i omit that ingredient if i want to?
@zephielovet9 жыл бұрын
if you don't put it in then you have more of a tinted moisturizer than a foundation
@CrimsonStigmata9 жыл бұрын
+Karishma Pall Zinc Oxide is basically sunblock. So yeah you can omit it. There are Foundations without SPF in it. So basically you would be making a liquid/creme foundation without SPF. Tinted Moisturizer is lotion and pigment. They don't necessarily have SPF in it either. I think what Zephie lovet was thinking of is a BB creme or a CC creme. Which are tinted moisturizers with SPF and other skincare benefits.

Actually, don't use betonite clay on excema! Betonite clay is used when you have acne or very oily skin because the clay particles absorb the excess oil from your skin. This however makes it drying and it should therefore not be used on excema or dry skin patches :) you can use it for your hair, too, but it still dries your hair out.. So even though betonite clay CAN be good for your skin and does have skin caring ingredients, don't use it on irritated or dry skin or excema because it will most certainly make the problem worse :)
