This video deserves so many more views than it has. It breaks my heart that we have become so egoic and disconnected from nature. It is only alongside nature that we can survive and prosper. We must preserve the environment to preserve our children's future. It's just a shame money has made it so difficult to protect our countryside. Land is a valuable resource for construction or modern farming, its difficult for some to see the true value in land. Thanks for the beautiful video.

The threat is now solar farms and wind turbines, the absolute perversity of pretending solar is good for the earth... But that the land can never be used for farmland because of the leeching of chemicals, is absolutely breathtaking in the brazen audacity of the absolute lie that green energy benefits the earth.

This river was one my stepfather Jack Hargreaves loved, and feared for because of extraction from the chalk aquifers so vital to its survival. 17 years after his death it seems in rude health. This must be the result of dedicated influencing informed by understanding of how a river works. This beautiful gem of a film - just a few minutes - must surely make the river's survival more assured.

@rackseng Thank you. I'm afraid I don't know what camera kit Hugh used to shoot this. I'll try to find out next time I see him! The underwater shots are great! Jane
