Dude, you need to do an updated video since the announcement of Power Pages, which is Portals. This was incredibly helpful for all the head-scratching moments I've had in the last 2 weeks. Thank you so much!

Great video, I needed this!!! But at 29:26 why it didn't print the value of string_a? At 30:45, is page a built in object or did you have to create it somewhere else and assign it a value?

Hi, Mr. Victor. How to display option field/dropdown field in liquid template?

I have question, can we detect the Request Method using Liquid Code? So for retrieving the Parameters passed through request in liquid code we use : {% assign xyz=request.params['xyz'] %} Is there any way we can retrieve the method from which the request was triggered, like get or post? Why I need this : I just want to add a condition that if the method is POST then only assign the value to variable else don't process the request.

Hi, Mr. Victor. Can you edit the record using liquid template on portal?
@ZeroToHeroesAcademy2 жыл бұрын
Nope, but you can use Portals WebApi for that.

Hi Victor, In Power Apps Portal, from the front-end content editor tool, we can change texts, images, downloadable web files, links, etc. But is there a possibility to make the portal Dynamic in a way that we can modify the layout/ or add new boxes on the portal without touching the code?
@ZeroToHeroesAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but you special permissions for that.
@HIMANSHISINGH08053 жыл бұрын
Request you to please elaborate or share any link if possible regarding the special permission. I have tested Administrator/Content Management roles with all privileges, but don't think so adding new sections/boxes or alteration to layout from UI without touching source code has to do with permission. Examples of requirements: -Adding new/additional screens to carousel from UI without going into source code or touching div tags -Adding new boxes on the page such that layout auto-adjusts Can liquid or any other means help with that? I may be missing out on something. Exploring self-service capabilities & possibilities from UI in case of Power Apps Portals. Thanks
