How do the tiers work? Never been in a unit with them. I'm assuming there's an "exam" of sorts you pass to advance tiers?

It's just our rank structure. 5s are admins, 4s re junior admins, 3s are hand picked players we believe are our best, 2s have gone through our training process so they know how we run ops under our ace settings, 1s have gone through the first half of the training, aka the basics, and 0s are new people. 95% of the ops we do in TSB are not tiered, meaning any tiered player can play. For this op's context however, T-5s are our best players, and thus had big says in how we ran the community, and they prove their skills in this operation against other tiered players.
