Honestly, it was a life changing decision. I do not regret doing it at all, I have been cautious since with my intakes (still on Colace and Lax-A-Day / Miralax), but I can now function normally without any pain.

I will see, I might make another video but honestly I'm doing perfectly good. I think the surgery was worth it, since it changed my life from now being able to do anything, to basically 100% back to previous health. I have to stay cautious though, since it can re-occur more easily than the average person (stool softeners are still my best friends)

How have you been doing since the video? I had lis surgery 2 weeks ago. Your story and experience in the last 7 months sounds very similar to mine that’s why I want to reach out to you. If you want to touch base let me know.

I'm feeling relieved, I didn't have any pain comeback, but I'm still very cautious with my intake, and staying of stool softeners for now.

I was, too, very worried about the incontinence issues. I did not have any issues, nor infection. I have been very cautious with my healing, I stayed on the liquid diet for about a week after surgery, and started eating back normally while staying on stool softeners. In about only 2-3 days, I think I realized that I would not have incontinence issues because I was not only able to hold gas in, but I actually had to push to let it out (because mainly of the inflammation I guess). Up to date, still no issue related to this.
