I’ve just removed the eye makeup using my favourite Nivea Double-Effect Waterproof eye makeup remover. It’s meant for waterproof eye makeup, so it’s good at removing that. With my usual waterproof mascara, it still takes a bit of work and patience to get the makeup removed. However, this eye make literally melted off! I’m so impressed! 😮 I will continue to use these products daily, so if there are any significant updates, I’ll note them here. it's crazy to hear about your relationship to eyeliner from when you were younger because i had such a similar experience. i remember reading tips in magazines on how to alter the appearance of your eyes (like thicker liner in the center for rounder, etc). it took my awhile to finally feel comfortable with my eyes with and without liner!

Deborah, hearing your story about how you felt insecure about your eyes because of the comments you received as a child broke my heart. You have stunning eyes! I always thought, and I still think so, that Asian eyes have the most beautiful shape! The eyeliner only emphasizes the already existing beauty. Personally, I didn't buy it or the mascara because they are not in my budget right now, but even if it was in the budget, I think I would give up the mascara, because I have a cheap one (telescopic) that works great for me. Regarding the color of the eyeliner packaging - I agree with you. Gold colored packaging was more appropriate for Lisa's brand. Thanks for the great video!

Your eyes look so pretty au naturale especially with your lovely brows. The liner just brings out their naturally beautiful shape. You do it very well. I’m so sorry you had to endure teasing about your eyes as a child. As a parent of grown children, it hurts my heart because I recall when my kids were little and got bullied. They were sweet and adorable as I’m sure you were. I adore your channel and share your admiration of Lisa Eldridge and what she creates. I’m sorry you were made to feel that way about your eyes. They are beautiful, and you do such a great job with your eye makeup! Kids were cruel in a similar way about my lips so I kind of get it. It took me years to get past it which I did through bold lip colors. Now, I love a bold lip! Though sometimes I still get nervous about the statement if I’m meeting a new group of people. Makeup really is such a special form of therapy!

Both products are definitely on my list. The research and care and attention show in every one of Lisa’s products, and that mascara (though steep for what I’m normally willing to pay for a mascara) seems like an absolutely smash hit. I rarely wear eyeliner - it’s not my forte and my eyes are a bit uneven and deep set - so I’ve mostly given up on my dream of a kitten eye. But the ease of that liner makes me think I could dare try!

Both is these products look great! I also love a mascara that is buildable and not clumpy. I did notice a difference after you curled your eyelashes, but you do have a lovely natural curl to your lashes. Also, your skin is looking beautiful; you look like you’re in your early 20s ❤️🥰

I always love your Lisa Eldridge reviews so I'm very excited to watch this! I must admit I no longer wear mascara or liner anymore or barely do, but I used to love the cat eye look in my late teens/early 20s because I was super obsessed with the '60s and French New Wave movies and icons Like you, I wore it daily, although I've always used eye pencil, not liquid eyeliner because I've always felt a bit intimidated by it! I'm so sorry that you felt self-conscious about your lovely eyes at one point, children can really be quite cruel at times & it's terrible how experiences like that tend to stay with us and end up negatively shaping how we view ourselves. I'm a bit behind and haven't been able to watch or comment on your latest videos but I really appreciate you and your content very much so thank you very much as always for sharing, I hope you're well and that you have a lovely week!💖 P.S. Ty for an up close tutorial! I’ve only done powdered wing liner and have been curious to try a liquid applicator. Nice to hear the liner & mascara formula are working out well! As an adult, my mascara seems to bleed more easily. I’m not sure if it’s because my eye cream is more emollient or I need to powder more underneath but it’s great to know Lisa’s formula is weightless, smudge resistant yet easy to remove. 😊

Hi Jenn! A powered wing is always more forgiving than a liquid one! 😅 As a tip, you could apply your powered wing first, and then use it as a guideline for your liquid liner. I find using both are complementary anyway! Thanks so much for watching! ♥️♥️♥️

I really enjoyed the review. I love Lisa Eldridge’s products. I just received my mascara and eyeliner yesterday. I used it today and am pleased so far. It has not smudged so I will wait until later today to see if the liner stays as I have oily eyelids.

Thanks for the review! They both look like great products. I don't need a new mascara or liner at the moment, but I'll likely consider these when I do. I really hope Lisa will release them in a cool-toned brown though, as I prefer a softer look. I have to admit that these aren't the most exciting releases though. I'm looking forward to the new lip products I believe Lisa has teased. I'm hoping we won't have to wait too long for those. Thanks for sharing your pro liner application tips! You are such an expert. Hey Megan, it could just be my eyes 😅 I personally really love this mascara but maybe you need a waterproof one, this is water-resistant. A lot of people in the comments section swore by Maybelline. I hope you find what you’re looking for! ♥️♥️♥️

I have tried so many mascaras because everything smudges on me. Lisa’s is quite tempting but I’m of course concerned about smudging or flaking. The only mascara that has been my hg for years is Trish McEvoy volume mascara (it’s one of those tubing ones). It goes on and doesn’t come off, is somehow easy to wash off, gives a pretty more natural looking lash. Really beautiful, but it’s a bit pricey. I’ve actually never tried it on my lower lashes, I’ll do that tomorrow. I used to use the Clinique one that’s especially made for lower lashes, I remember it working well but it’s been a while. I won’t be purchasing the eyeliner as I am not a liquid eyeliner user (my eyes are round and hooded so it’s complicated), but certainly will be buying the mascara. Your natural eyes are beautiful😊 thanks for the review! unfortunately I wasn't excited about this launch as I hardly use an eye liner. In terms of the mascara, it does look like a regular mascara. I'm not gonna buy it. Frankly, I tried and used expensive mascara in the past that didn't disappoint me. I'm a big user of mascara. The best mascara so far for me which works great and does not smudge and clump is maybelline sensational. I think lipsticks and foundation are the best buy from LE. I love them😊

Ooooh, that's such a good question. If I had to choose, liner! That's my personal preference. For someone else, it depends on whether they’re usually a liner person. If not, I'd recommend the mascara instead. Thanks so much for watching ♥️♥️♥️

Isn’t it crazy how impressionable we are as kids. I had the same problem. It was so bad I used to walk around with a clothes pin pinching my upper nose so my eyes wouldn’t be so monolid. I actually thought it would permanently make my eyes less “asian”. It makes me sad now that I look back on it. Makes me even more sad that that kind of bullying still exists. Eyeliner, brows, and foundation are my favorite products. I can’t live without. I personally prefer a brush tip but this eyeliner looks like it applied so smoothly and it’s super dark.
