Lisa Eldridge Lip Collection Review

In 2018 Lisa Eldridge launched a limited-edition capsule-collection of immaculate True Velvet Lipsticks. They sold out in hours. Since then Lisa has expanded the range of colours and formulae. In this film I’m reviewing her latest launch of Lip Glosses and revisiting some of my favourite lipsticks from her original collection.

You’re not the only one. Go lightly is warm toned, to my eye. I find cool colours the most flattering on me. I wish go lightly looked good on me but I know it won’t!

I am nc43 darkness but yellow-green. I thought go lightly would look terrible, but it’s not bad! Strangely I tend to look better in things than are a bit cooler as well. A tinge of pink/purple in my browns is usually my preference. Not very cool- just a little.

This is such a wonderful video! I absolutely love Lisa Eldridge’s lipsticks and cannot wait to receive my order with the new glosses, lipstick colors, and the Blush kit (the lip liner formulation seems like it would be perfect for a super long lasting base while wearing a mask). I've never tried Lisa Eldridge before but I'd heard such good things that I went a little crazy and stocked up! Amazing though when you said the Golightly gloss brightens the whites of your eyes, you could actually see that happening as you applied it! What sorcery is this?! I have finicky lips too. I used to love wearing lipstick when I was younger, but my lips are so dry now that I find it difficult to apply lippie to them. I’ve tried every balm/lip treatment! Despite my lip issues, I HAD TO order Lisa’s lipsticks. They just called out to me. I’ve ordered a couple of Lip Kits (Muse and Beauty), and the Jazz, Ribbon, Myth and Blush Velvet Lipsticks. Unfortunately, I missed out on the Blush Lip Kit, so will have to try to get a hold of the Blush Embrace Gloss next time. I’ve already got 4 from the first collection (and a back-up for Velvet Jazz, which is a stunner of a shade and great as a lip stain). I’ve ordered and eagerly waiting for my Muse lip kit (velvet blush is next on the wishlist). I’ve really pared down my make-up during quarantine to a minimum, but this is a launch I couldn’t pass up. Hi Caroline So nice to see some of the shades on you. I have looked at some reviews and am very keen on the Muse and blush shades but don’t know if I should get the gloss or lipstick 🤷‍♀️ can’t get it all 😔 any advice,?
