I've loved her since the first time I heard her performing with Damien Rice, and even more as she launches into her solo career. She reminds me of a young Natalie Merchant, especially with her energetic and incredibly cute dancing during her performance.

Yes, she does sound similar to her at times on certain songs, notably the studio version of Blurry. I also think she has a far wider range which makes up her own unique style.

@nat00ben06 Funny that, of all her songs, you mention Splishy Splashy, which is probably the most serious song on her album... and I suppose another band you can't take seriously is The Beatles, I mean, with that "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" song... but go on judging artists and songs by their titles and tell people to settle for mediocrity, if you want...
