Thank you I had a great day today but was so tired and was taking care of my 83 yr old mom with dementia. I lost my patience after I tried to tell her for the third time that she had already put noodles in the chicken soup . And I hurt her feelings even though I’d been praying and doing my best To treat this gentle gracious woman with the kindness she deserved . She was my Rock through a life time of struggles and joys . And I hurt her feelings again So I excused myself and came looking for a way to get perspective and levity in all this And said- Lisa Harper Lisa - they say angels can fly bc they take themselves lightly Myou have that gift , angel lady You remind us ,Jesus knows us deeply and loves us deeply and that he will laugh with us not at us And that gives us the courage to keep going even when we foul it up Love you lady❤ Needed your medicine today doc I thank you much

The Bible is very clear that women are not to preach. This is rebellion against a Holy God who made His word clear. 2 Timothy 4:3 - "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions." We are in these times.

ALSO PREACHING is really Prophesying if you look at the original language and see what the word preaching really is. So yes, Acts 2:17-18 daughters who prophesy are preaching. Also, the reason Paul wrote about women being quiet, was in their culture, the women were separate from the men in the temple -- as a result the women were trying to ask their husband questions, disrupting the service. That was why they asked the women to be quiet, and ask for answers later, it was not for them never to speak. there were women apostles in the New Testament, there were Prophetesses as well, and as I said, they declared the word of the Lord which is very like preaching, only with insight into God's heart. So you can't say this if you really study the Bible and the original meaning of that scripture. Please drop the religious mindset and get to know the truth about what the Scripture says by studying the original language it came from, and also the historical truth that will give you insight into the culture, not just a religious mindset against women. In the New Testament, there is neither male nor female from God's point of view, so if you take that seriously, anyone can preach.
