This is a huge deal because when Kpop artists release new music, they usually perform it on Korean music shows first as debut stages. It's a big deal that Lisa did hers on a huge well-known show like Fallon's (not everyone's happy about it though. Some fans still preferred her debut stage to be in Korea. Although out of all the BP members' solos, Lisa's was the most well-received globally, as things are right now Koreans are still on the fence about it. I hope they come around because her 2 songs are lit 🔥. Some Korean netizens can be really racist and xenophobic. They have been hostile to Lisa's being Thai in the past. I hope they come around).

When Rosé did "On The Ground" and "Gone" it was also a huge risk since both songs are completely in English, and you don't really see English songs by Korean artists doing well in Korea. But guess what? She debuted #1 in the Billboard Global 200 *and* she won multiple #1s in weekly music shows in Korea. AND she also got to perform at Fallon.

Jennie's solo, while it came first, it's still by far the most well received solo debut by the BP members, at least in Korea. It legit got #1 in all music streaming and charting platforms in Korea. Jennie's solo occasionally still charts even up to this day despite being 3 years old.

All the 3 members' solos have been explosive so far, blowing other artists' releases out of the water when they came out. Whenever BLACKPINK releases something, other Kpop artists usually keep their release dates far away from BLACKPINK's because not trying to sound arrogant but let's be real, theirs is going to be overshadowed whenever BP comes back. I'm excited and somehow wondering what Jisoo's solo will be like. 🔥
