Hello Claire! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my tribute song to Lisa Marie Presley. I feel terrible I got that detail wrong, Claire. I cared so deeply to get all the details right for the song. At the time I wrote it, everything I googled and researched said she had blue eyes just like her Mom and Dad (and that her eyes started out blue when she was child, at least)..., every picture I looked at of her, her eyes looked blue, I also asked around. It was actually the lyric I was extra concerned about and double checked into before recording the vocals. Thank you for letting me know. This acoustic version was all I could afford to record for now, but I am hoping to be able to do a fully produced version of the song one day. I can easily change that lyric then. But the song was written with so much love straight from my heart. Maybe what I was writing about was the soul connection through their eyes that Lisa Marie and her Father shared. Thank you and wishing you a Happy New Year and all the blessings this year can hold.
