I've read alot about Elvis....the film wasn't very historically accurate. Especially about his youth. I couldn't stop thinking Tom Hanks was channelling Adam Sandler aka Waterboy/Opera man 🤣. Honestly I found it distracting and seemed like a long SNL skit

Look again. Riley has Elvis facial bone structure. His forehead, cheek bones, jawline and chin. The smile is Priscilla’s. The eyes are Priscilla’s. Ben had his father facial bone structure especially his chin and thick face. But he did have Elvis smile.

I used to live in Memphis for about a year & a half, moving from Nashville early 80s. Memphis holds many wonderful memories for me. I've always loved Elvis's Music, especially his love tunes..I can't wait to see this movie! And I really miss Memphis BBQ! Elvis will always be in our Music, and always loved. PS. Having seen his other stuff, he is a good enough actor not to be typecast. My wife, who is not a movie fan, was really impressed by Butler’sperformance, as much as I. Not really an Elvis fan, because of the uneven quality of his work. But at his best he lives up to the legend, and this is what Butler does, which is recreate the legend.

The song lyrics referred to during the on camera tag at 2:26 in "If you don't believe I'm leaving Just count the days I'm gone" are from a Ferlin Husky song titled If You Don't Believe I'm Leaving. Ferlin Husky toured with Elvis in the early days, but I don't believe Elvis recorded that song. A side note Ferlin Husky became good friends with Elvis' parents Vernon and Gladys. It was Vernon who called Ferlin to notify Elvis had passed away.
