Really relates more to the servants and masters personalities. The war was also a matter of honor for the mage families so it was treated very ceremoniously. The only two who really carry that over in the next war are Rin and Illya who both were raised to understand what the war was on some level even after their family members were dead. The other aspect of Zero that does this is the amount of attention and screen time given to the servants and their back stories which is more due to them having strong personalities from legend: Arthur, Alexander, and Gilgamesh All examples of strong personalities that carry themselves because of their status.

Still my favorite anime opening of all time. The song and the animation is on fire. After I learned LiSa sang songs from Girl's Dead Monster (Angel Beats), I fell in love with her. I then fell to the rabbit hole of anisongs and JPOP in general. I used to listen to LiSA and Eir Aoi back in the days.. I miss those times.
