😢 I still can’t believe it. This hit really really hard. When I was little, my Grandmom would always bring home People magazine, Star, The Enquirer, etc. and I would always look through them and see pictures of Lisa Marie Presley with her mom and I’d always see pictures of John F. I'm glad Lisa has her own style of music. She is very good in her own right. No one, not even she should be compared to Elvis. I know she looks almost exactly like him and moves a lot like him; same expressions, etc., but she is good on her own and no one else can be Elvis. Everyone should give her more of a chance. She had a lot of guts and confidence to even attempt to go for a singing career, good or not. Bravo, Lisa!

Yes, White Wedding w/ Billy Idol was good. That and Dirty Laundry were really good choices for her to do, with her smoky voice and edgy stage persona. I remember seeing her do this, I think, on Letternan years ago and really loved it. I never thought much of the Don Henley original, but it was perfect for her. She also worked with TB Bone Burnette, and he doesn’t work with anyone who isn’t really good. The lyrics to this one are poignant, especially now. If anyone knew what that blood thirsty paparazzi (AND the public) quest for dirty laundry is, it would be Lisa Marie Presley. What a heartbreaking story.

This song is so fitting! In all the news stories of her, I had no idea she was a singer/songwriter. All I ever heard about was her Hollywood life and crazy marriages. Rip thought i would take a moment to privately tribute her...interesting confusing...i have been thinking most of us in this age group are..interesting& confusing..such a father; always tmz& ET fodder..likely her& micheal both passed on..mega famous..most likely mega lonely for somebody real...they in my opinion were a fun match..we never were really clued into where we go next..hopefully heavenish place..where no public scrutiny takes place..but family can hang out! I was in their home bk in the 80's. Actually our son that we lost was with us there, he broke a glass 6oz babies bottle on the plastic runner there as we we're touring tho their home! He didn't mean to & I remember feeling guilty & I hurried up & cleaned it all up. Thx goodness wasn't on the carpet there... Now, our only son has been gone for about 25yrs & jus feels liked forever... Hard to believe he would be 35. Just couldn't imagine how our life would all be liked, He was the oldest of 3# If u want to say, I know his sisters missed out so much time w him, And getting to know him as a older person... Can't wonder & wished that will turned me bk around & it Tooked me at least 20yrs to be able to function as a reg person again, I was broken & so lost 💔 My heart felt liked it was ripped out of my chest! I gradually started cming out of that dark room of mine, had 2# others & a husband that I had to tk cared of & was hurt badly! Even though my world seemed to be gone, I nurse him bk to health & he had to hv surgery from the accident... How I fought so hard to hv children, See cuz specialists told me that I wouldn't carried passed 6 Mos of a child & I did! We are strong believers in our faith & lord👑 but, I actually think it will tk me a lifetime to heal this 💔heart🫂
