“Catch and kill” has two meanings: a paparazzi term where rumors and stories are bought and then once owned, the story is killed; also refers to the negative false rumors by haters that her fans, Lilies “catch and kill” the rumors. This production is top notch and very creative that reflects her culture, her swagalicious vibe, confidence and hardwork. She had a lot of say in putting this whole MV and song together. She is credited with the lyrics as well. It’s Hot! Hot! It has a Tokyo Drift cyberpunk vibe. I picture dancing to this song in EDM/rave clubs wearing the fit and harware. The DJs are going to have fun mixing this song. It’s a club banger. I can’t wait to hear it at Coachella. Also looking forward to the rest of the album. It’s not kpop anymore but Lisa is now in the pop genre reaching out to a global audience, which was the plan. She always stands out with her charisma and aura that she can reach a global fandom. The vides was filmed in chaina town in Bangkok. Super busy street. They filmed it over 3 days from 2 am to 5 am. The shops that were closed left the lights on and the shops that were open, they rented the shops so they could close the whole street. Only Lisa can pull this off. Yes, Lisa is 100% Thai :) Looking forward to hear the full album she is working on :)

Lisa filmed the music video at various locations in Thailand, including Yaowarat Road in Bangkok's Chinatown and the Bang Lamphu Department Store with former movie theatre on New Phetchaburi Road. while using a team of dancers and Thai actors, one of them is the daughter of Dusit Chalermsan, a former Thailand national football player. She reportedly paid ฿20,000 (US$540) to each shop owner on Yaowarat Road to close early in order to facilitate the shooting of the music video. The road was closed from 2:00 am to 5:00 am for three consecutive days.

I love, love, love Rockstar. I'm obsessed. . Queen, cooked with "Lalisa", ate with "Money" and didn't even leave crumbs with "Rockstar". And once again it falls into history. (Lisa is different). every detail of this in depth, we saw that it goes beyond a perfect and well-produced video, to many meanings and truths in each stanza. The real meaning of the music video is about the bullies she had to face while in the kpop industry, and the discrimination for being Thai and with darker skin, to which she had to put on foundation to lighten and even hide the mole. on her lips with filters, something she now made a point of showing. Those LGBTQIA+ representatives, who are in the video, are because they made fun of all the Thai girls who are Lady boys, and guys with tattoos because they hate her tattoo, she danced in a group of girls wearing white, which means she is a girl of SEA among several pale-skinned Korean women, filming in Thailand because they always told her to go home. These are the bullies she faced when she was in the K-Pop industry, she showed her worth, stood out among many who they thought were perfect and had fair skin, and came back to show the power of Thai skin. The last scene where her body twists is because that's how K-pop made her. She killed them well. The part was referring to the word "Japanese", it's because when she was harassed by antis, saying that they only knew LiSA (Japanese singer who happened to have the same stage name) from Japan. They kept saying 'are you Japanese? /you're from Japan, can you teach me Japanese? Because for them every Asian is "Japanese", (regardless of her nationality), and even though they knew she was Thai, they kept repeating it almost like a mockery, thinking she wouldn't understand. It's an almost racist or xenophobic behavior from the antis, but LISA, as she is different and authentic, responded in their language: I'm Thai, and in addition to your language, I speak three more, which one do you prefer to talk to? QUEEN, GLOBAL QUEEN.👑💫❤👏👏👏👏

There's a lot of hidden easter eggs in the video too. Basically the video is about being inclusive. She had all sorts of people with tattoos, trans, and bikers, in her video. In all of the cases those people are looked negatively because of who or what they are. Is a slap to the people haters and critics because she herself has tattoos. She also is reminding other asians that SEA (South East Asia) are asians too. Asian isn't just Japan, china and korea. The scene, 😂of the dancers wearing the white hoodies, is a reminder, asians come in all skin shades. Unfortunately some Asian countries view darker shades negatively. The stereotype of asians with white porcelain skin is false and forced narrative. The verse: my own personal interpretation "teach me japanese..." refers to the time when knets, xenophobic, refused to acknowledge Lisa's Thai roots and kept asking her if she was japanese. Also it also refers to a japanese artist with the same name. I'm sure there's more the ones that I mentioned stick to me the most. My apologies for the long response.

Blackpink are suppose to be together but I really cannot see them back together again. YG are more interested in Baby Monster than Blackpink.
