What does Merciful and Merciless do? Buzzo sure as hell didn’t show much mercy when he got it at the start of the fight and when he got merciless he just did an less dangerous attack that didn’t perma-kill.

When he has Merciful he doesn't use permakill moves. During the Joyboy phase he doesn't have any attacks. He uses common events to permakill party members. When he has Merciless his next attack wrecks the entire party if you don't stun him.

Its an odd choice for a song for thid battle, I think something more violent and intimidating, something like Rando's March, would work better for this battle. Also, why did everyone's stats decreased after the fight? Nevertheless, good job

I can see what it's going for actually, it's playing off the creepiness of the theme you get when you fight Buzzo in the first place by switching from music box to distorted piano.

Probably as a “fuck you” to the people trying to weasel out of the choice by trying to kill Buzzo. The fight ends up saddling you with all the penalties of this choice and the one immediately after (Buzzo uses a lot of perma kill moves and ends up killing lots of party members compared to the guaranteed lost three party members, during the fight he grabs Buddy, slices off her nipple and tosses it to you, you’re gonna burn through a lot of items keeping your health, SP, and damage high enough to survive the fight, and at the end of the fight the last mutant bites off Brad’s arm anyway before dying, with the surviving party members also taking stat penalties alongside Brad’s own penalties).
