This guy literally just stole Yoshitomo Nara’s style and even the poses. How did he even get this far into his career without people calling him unoriginal and a thief because Callejo’s art looks exactly like Nara’s

Before coming at an artist first do some research, Javier Calleja apprenticed with Yoshitomo Nara

Barry McGee, Nara, Philip Guston... I precisely believe that the latter is in the work of all the previous ones. All of them make up my work and I am very much against the idea that just because someone does something it can no longer be done. From my point of view this is a drag on conceptualism, where the idea is so important that anyone else who takes it is already copying it. Nara came first, I'm very frank about that, but I find it funny that people don't like my work because it looks like someone else's." Javier Calleja.

@@AFXtwin That´s a myth. In the other video about him on this channel Javier explains that he was never Nara's apprentice.
