I I never watch any of your videos without coming away with a new idea that I can use myself. I love your clean concise instructions and any crafter who doesn't bore me watching a video full of them painting in super speed has my vote. I'm to the point where I skip through those videos unless I'm learning a new technique. Sorry, I'm rambling. My point was I get new ideas for new techniques from you almost every time I watch your videos. My favorite was the urn, but I also liked the idea of the candle and I've used that technique with dollar tree candles recently. Works like a charm. I didn't love the candle because the gold wasn't neat, but for once I have a tip for you. Amazon (and other places) sell automotive pinstriping painters tape. It is very narrow tape that easily does curved parts neatly. The deal I buy is from a store called Chinco and it is $13 (prime) for 6 rolls of tape from 1/16" to 3/4" x 52 yards. I don't know if there are better deals, this is what my partner uses building model trains, and he is the one who gave me the tip. Used in combination with regular painters tape on the large areas it gives you neat clean lines even on odd shaped surfaces. I'm sure you can find it, and I'm not sure I should leave a link here. If you want one, just let me know. Thanks!

Lisa, The candles should have been out in the pot of water at the very beginning when the pot was first put on the eye of the stove. Putting a cold glass container/jar in boiling water, can cause it to crack or break. I just thought I would let you know.

I don't know what state you live in but those spray cans cost anywhere from $7.00 to $10.00 each at your Big Box store.

I calculated my total cost on the amount of paint I used. I only used about 1/3-1/2 of a can of paint per project, so I prorated the cost.
