I honestly think that you should be working as a consultant decorator for rich people. I would love you and Nat a Lee to come to N.Ireland for a meet and greet. Bravo! Very highend, very inviting entryroom. I love birds for decoration, collected over the years antique porzellan birds, have enough to follow different colorschemes. I also use the clip on birds as you have in this decoration, but the cardinal birds to fit for the red-green tartan theme in my x-mas decoration. The styroporglobes look fantastic! especially in combination with the large wallmural. Did a similar decoration with eggshaped styropor for easter and tried to simulate the Russian Fabergee eggs, the fabric I used was moire and the embellishment was pearls, gemstones, pailets, golden lace. Cannot wait to see a hometour, when your house is complete decorated.

I live in Pennsylvania near the northeaster New York border. The nearest Hobby Lobby is 45 minutes away so when I go it isn’t usually to just go I have family down that way and there is a fabulous farmers market. Any way Lisa you have so inspired me to look at so many things I won’t have never before. I have always loved the Christian aspect of Hobby Lobby. But you have given me new eyes to look at and view things differently. Today I found clearance material and material was on sale 40 percent. I have to go down that way again next week to pick up my daughter from the airport so next week is Christmas to buy. I didn’t have much time today I was looking for pillow covers but only found pillowcases So better luck next week. But thank you Lisa from the bottom of my heart for sharing your talent God bless

When the kids were home, I bought them an ornament each year that represented a milestone. Many or most were Hallmark ornaments. I have never used the glass or plastic balls (too impersonal). Even my mini tree I now use has mini Hallmark ornaments. However, I am going to change it this year to pink and white with a pink fur skirt, a white boa and gold, silver and pearl beads garlands. DT has a pretty, white bird with tail feathers that I will clip to the top. I will probably add small, glittered balls, floral picks, and small pink roses this year.

What a wonderful and sentimental thing to do with your children. I bet those ornaments are treasures. What a fancy tree you’re going to have with the pink gold and boa! I’m sure it will be beautiful!🎄💕

@LisaBurningham When the kids got married, they each had 3 drawers of ornaments for their tree. Sadly, my daughter-in-law did not appreciate my son's collection of bears (with a backpack, book, football, etc.). She preferred teal and purple balls. He graciously left his ornaments in the basement, unused.
