I had a total knee replacement when I was 60, after 6 previous knee surgeries over a 30 year period. The meniscectomy, 5 years prior was even more painful than the TKR, because all the arthritic pain in my knee just stopped with the replacement. The pain from the meniscus, as my surgeon told me, lasted for three months. It was extremely painful. Having said that, the TKR was the best thing for my knee. 18 months after, we did the Camino de Santiago and walked 800 km from France over the Pyrenees across Spain. I am 67 years old now. Good luck with the surgery and I hope it solves all the knee problems. I would not wish that on anyone. Also thank you for your great videos and tutorials. Greetings from Melbourne Australia.

Lisa great news on canning your food. With Harlen's knee surgery coming up. I've been there and had all four of my meniscus tendons repaired on my right knee. That was not fun and before the surgery it was really painful and hard to walk. Their recovery does take some time hopefully that all goes good for Harlen? Sending prayers for a good surgeon and recovery.❤

I think that you have the right things on your plate! Maybe you want to be doing some other fun things for a change, and you know what? That’s normal and just fine. Have a wonderful holiday, Lisa. You need to relax some and stop worrying about us! Have fun with your family and chickens, sugar. Love, Pat

Angel is darling! And your BREAD?!! Impressive. We’ve been practicing more self-reliance too. I agree, it is fun with a strong dose of self-accomplishment. We ordered a new grain mill several months ago and have resumed making our own flour again. Game changer and healthy! Best wishes for Harlan’s recovery. You too. Guess you’re back on Chicken Duty…. Maybe we’ll see a vid. Lol

This Angel is adorable! Thanks! Safe surgery and speedy healing for Harlan. 🙏🏻 my husband and I began our canning journey about 11 years ago. It is very rewarding! Knowing we grew our food, no chemicals, and canned or froze them gives us peace of mind, too. Not to mention how fun it is to go “shopping” in the cellar for items to make a healthy meal. Have fun with that! See you on the 15th!

One project I wish you would do is make a stitch book. It would be something all of your followers could use. Make a few pages to have on hand, some with batting, some without. Then when you test your blanket stitch's width and length 15:20 on this fabric page, you write down on the fabric page, next to where you stitch, the settings for that row of stitching. I'd even write down the stitch number so I can find it easier on the machine next time I sat down to sew. If you use stabilizer or batting, write which stabilizer or batting on the stitch page as well. I'd make a different page for each different stitch. One page for zigzag and a different page for satin stitches. Then you save these pages into a book and the next time you want to blanket stitch or which ever stitch, you pull out your stitch book and see what settings you like. If you don't see one you like, there's room on the page to do a few more test runs (making sure you write the settings right next to the stitching every time). 💖🌞🌵😷 (I'm thinking 5x5 pages so I can use pre-cuts, but in today's video you're scrap is only about 2", so a jellyroll could be used... You decide. A binder ring or even a ribbon could be used to make adding new pages easy. You could just poke a hole or an eyelet or even a buttonhole if your machine does them automatically.)

Hello Lisa, this Angel It is so cute !!! I can see her made up in a wallhanging, or a quilt. She's perfect, your homemade bread would be delicious on some turkey sandwiches 😋 I definitely saved this one to print out later. Even if I need to buy it from your Etsy shop. My printer is on the Fritz 😩 Thank you for your time in making all of these wonderful patterns. And demonstrating to us how to applique them and sew them. Looking forward to your next video on December 15th.
