Among all the Ms Hongkong throughout the years, you are definitely my favourite. Real beauty with a lovely family and your mom looks just gorgeous with your dad looks so young, like a big brother standing next to you. Love all your videos showing us your day to day life, introducing the wonderful places around your hometown. Looking forward to your involvement in the HK entertainment, if there is any in the coming days.

Thank you Lisa and your cool dad. This is so nostalgic and I'm surprised to learn your father lived on the same street around the same time. I lived on Hill Street growing up and also went to do my laundry every weekend 😅 it was a great community but people have moved out now, including myself and Garnet hill is no longer the same. I didn't know your dad was a chef in Chinatown restaurant - must be when Michael was the boss. I use to work for him in Newton means too. Anyways, I enjoyed your video -blast from the past - and hope you remain a beautiful soul that you are. Xx

Thank you Lisa. Love watching your videos especially this one in Glasgow ‘ Garnethill ‘ Hill St - feeling nostalgic neighbourhood where I grow up. I also lived Hill St, went to the same laundrette.

I live in the US, and the lifestyle in Scotland seems to be more relaxed. The subway train looks smaller than our subway train, it's so cute. Your dad is a hard worker. You're blessed to be his daughter. Can't wait to see more of Scotland. Thanks for sharing!

Was in Glasgow (and the northern part of Scotland) for a month attending classes at Strathclyde in the 90's, still remember the train station and the downtown shopping areas, didn't meet you dad though. Thanks for bringing back the fond members, with an added closeness of modern day Hong Kong.

Love you Scottish accent and your down to earthiness ! I travelled all around Scotland with my younger brother many, many moons ago and loved it ! Mind you, I stayed in the U.K. for 12 years and it was full of fond memories. Keep up the good work !

Nice memories Lisa, I used to go to the chip shop at the start of your video after Chinese school in the 90s. I played snooker and pool above the Chinatown restaurant also and also travelled the subway to get to Glasgow uni. We used to get Chinese food to take home from sauchiehall street. I live in Edinburgh now but visit Glasgow now and again.
I was in China town bank holiday Thursday there, the restaurant was packed with folk waiting to eat outside, where it looked really quiet when you's were there. Luckily I was shopping at the fish store and the wee bakery in the complex with my parents. recognised a few of the places you were at....very cool.

Lizzie, thank you for the wonderful clip on Glasgow. I really admire the father-daughter relationship, pretty warm & frank. The other thing: even much makeup, Lizzie looks fresh and very pleasant. Speaking to dad in canto really makes me feeling homesick.

Its great to hear the stories from the diverse communities that make up Glasgow and Scotland, it is so important to document the communities history and cultural heritage for the future so people are aware of the work and cultural input Chinese and other immigrant communities have had and continue to have. I used to train Jeet Kune do in Garnethill and lived in the west end so I used to eat frequently at China town and also use many of the Chinese medicine shops around the area, I know the travel agents you spoke about I used to pass the one in China town going to the food shop in there. Thanks for sharing, I need to head into China town and up to SeeWoo soon.
