Listening to them closely is also a great opportunity to pick up on smaller details, especially in their body language, it can give some important clues about what they are thinking. You can also focus on fine-tuning in on their personality and values, to get an accurate sense of who they really are

"I hate the stereotype of the pretty woman being stupid." You hit the nail on the head! Intelligence is one of the most important assets (kindness as well) because it wins respect. I strongly believe in being attractive and intelligent because they make women charming. I like to dress up when I go out and show passion for culture. I am extremely selective about choosing friends and mates (and refuse to choose low-caliber people). I love reading books, watching documentaries, and watching classical music concerts and operas (as well as classic films). I, however, am not afraid to admit that I am not familiar with certain topics, and I have a terrible time understanding politics (besides Trump's lies - LOL). I also believe in making people comfortable, so I listen to their stories with genuine interest. Good point about healthy relationships. I had a hard time with mean people in high school and stressed to the point of depression. My previous relationship was a bust, and I realized he was not the one for me because now that I think about it, he was actually a lot like Trump - yikes! As I became older, I learned who are my real friends (and what kind of person is a potential mate). I learned so much from experience, good and bad, and from you and other feminine YTers. Thank you!❤️💋👗

I'm struggling with my femininity 😪 my passion is working on cars. It's filthy and rough so, it's very difficult to keep my face from breaking out and keeping my hair/ nails nice 😪 sooo exhausting and not a whole lot of women I have found in this situation to bounce ideas off. I'm still working where I can on it ... Any advice? 😬
@Rooooxy3 жыл бұрын
I’m also in a male dominated field. Doesn’t make us less feminine. Instead of doing my nails I do my makeup or hair and add little trinkets on my purse and bags like keychains that make it look more feminine. Accessories help too but the main focus should be on personality and not on looks!
@AspasiaB3 жыл бұрын
As far as your nails, if nothing else just keep them trimmed and buffed. Nail polish can be saved for special occasions. Keep hands as moisturized as possible, outside of work of course. I'm a caregiver so I'm doing a lot of cleaning and even with gloves, my hands can be wrecked. But I exfoliate them once a week and put a heavy moisturizer on overnight afterwards. Nails are nicely filed and buffed.

i dnt think that makes you less feminine. its nice to see something different and alot of people get intrigued by women who have a complex way of being. so i think you still work there, be yourself and also incorporate feminine traits into your life/behavior
@krystinaamos13803 жыл бұрын
I also work in a male-dominated field (oil and gas, geology and petroleum engineering). I love it and do not want to do anything else. I used to work on drilling rigs and currently work on research boats. I’ll share things I do to be elegant while doing technical/dirty/sweaty/“unfeminine” work: *Behavior *Skin *Nails *Eyebrows *Hygiene *Tap into femininity on time off The most important element of being elegant is behavior. Be and speak like a lady. I don’t use vulgar language, make vulgar jokes or speak loudly. (Of course I’ll raise my voice if I need to for people to hear me across the rig or boat, but I mean not in general.) As far as appearance, I stay on top of my skin and nails, and I believe these are the most important details. Especially when you work in an environment where you must wear coveralls, steel toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, sweat and can’t wear jewelry. Wear gloves appropriate for your job tasks as often as possible to protect your hands and the skin of your hands. I keep my cuticles moisturized and pushed back, nails short and filed with a coat of clear polish, which only takes minutes a week. I stay on top of skin care. I had cystic acne for 18 years, so in 2017 did a 6 month course of isotretinoin which erradicated the acne. Now all I have to do is wash my face twice a day. After washing in the morning, I apply moisturizer with sunscreen and at night I apply tretinoin cream. That is enough to keep my skin clear. This requires a few minutes a day, if that. Besides that, I just bathe daily, use dry shampoo in between shampooing to control oil and make my hair smell fresh and have more volume. I don’t do this every day, but sometimes I use powder to fill in my eyebrows and set them with clear mascara. It makes a nice difference, but doesn’t scream “makeup!”, and sweating doesn’t affect it. Outside of work, I make sure to “balance out my energies” by doing activities I enjoy that are traditionally considered feminine, such as belly dancing, pole dancing, mobility and flexibility exercises. I also enjoy wearing feminine, figure flattering clothes and wearing perfume and eye makeup. Hopefully this at least helps you come up with ideas of what might work for you.

I really love your videos, I've saved at least four or five of them Would you consider making a video about boyfriends? I'm always like "Should I snuggle or caress him, should I kiss him first, or should I always wait for him come to me....?" It's a real struggle. Also, men love the unattainable. So.... How can we be unattainable when they've attained us?
@laundrybasket26893 жыл бұрын
That seems to be the million dollar question of all women. I know in my past experiences this hasn’t been a practical thing. Unless you adopt another personality and fake a large part of yourself. I personally am not able to do that, nor would I be happy doing that just to keep my man interested in me. 🤷🏼♀️

Can you do a video on the how. In terms of the conversation piece. I consider myself very intelligent, cultured and knowledgeable but Im shy and have social anxiety which makes it difficult to express myself at times....the content is there but conversations are difficult for me unless the person and I click.
@nateschultz89732 жыл бұрын
Conversation is two sided. The difficulties you face are not unusual. Even those who seem effortless have to work to get conversion moving. It's merely a matter of degree and less than many think. Consider both sides of a conversation. Things that would sting you or bore you are going to hamper someone else, generally. (make it more work) If you don't relax, your interlocutor can tell and remains in a higher stress state while trying to converse. To sum up: Consider what makes things easier for you and do that for others as you speak with them and you'll find conversation becomes easier. You're your best model for what works. "I do everything right and it doesn't work" is a lie we tell ourselves for various reasons. Watch out for it. Nobody is charming all the time. Nobody has only great conversations and is loved by all. Those are also mental traps to watch out for. Ganbatte
