Yeah makeup is definitely me time. My mother never wears makeup-she’s more into skincare making you look your best, so she doesn’t get that makeup is not about making me look better (although it definitely does when I accentuate my features). It’s more about the process and artistry for me.

Putting on makeup is a favorite part of my day!! I find it calming/therapeutic. When my daughter was little, she thought I was magic because of my transformation :)! I LOVE THAT. Today she is 27 and her makeup is always beautiful!! RE: the CT foundation--it was not for me! Too glowy on my oily skin and emphasized my fine lines & pores!

I have only worn make-up to go out. My daughters wore make-up from their teens, and my daughter informed me "you need to wear it more often, 'now that you're old' mum"...😂😂😂 so I started watching these channels, bought highend and drugstore brands, wore it more often and quite enjoyed it, but now I'm retired, I don't go anywhere that often, and it seems such a waste to just sit at home... do you ladies bother if you're just at home??? Am I just lazy??

2:00, At this particular minute, when you first applied the foundation, I could see what you were saying about the grey but at 27:09, in the end it was super lovely especially with the powder you used because you wanted the more matted finished look. You’re a professional, you have the brushes and the years of experience so to me, it’s always beautiful. My self-care is watching your videos, learning tips and living vicariously through you especially when you use expensive products! 🥰

I love the Charlotte foundation but would love it even more if it was a satin finish. The formula and color for me are perfect - But it is a bit glowy.

Yes, I found it too glowy.. I use it under other foundation to brighten my skin when dull in winter, or you can take down the shine with matt powders... but I don't use it in summer, I think then I just look sweaty!

Then, you can love others because you love yourself and you make a great person to be around. I’m with you on how foundation “feels” after application. If I’m noticing it, then it’s usually a greasy texture for my combo skin. I’ve had that same feeling when I tried the makeup forever palette with foundation, concealer and blush options. To me, they also usually transfer when they’re feeling that way on the skin. Lisa you made the foundation look gorgeous, regardless. Always appreciate your precise and just thorough reviews and always teaching us something in every video. Another beautiful look sweet lady❤️

Doing my makeup is definitely self-care time for me. After struggling with acne as a teenager, initially, it was about covering my breakouts because I was insecure about my skin. As I've gotten older and my skin has cleared, it's more about the process rather than the result.

The foundation does look really pretty on you. If it doesn’t feel great, it doesn’t matter how it looks. There are too many choices out there to try and make something work 😊. OMG I caught this just in time...I've been wanting Angies travel set for a while now, had to flip from this video to get that set right away...it's 1 40 AM PST, thank you for honoring the discount so late on the 9th, LOVE YOU, and can't wait for this travel set! I so often am doing my make up in a car (hubs driving) and now I dont' have to drag my full size Angie brushes and your own into whatever bag, (or even an extra tote bag) to do that. I went out on a limb and bought the CT stick foundation... I was skeptical because I have combo to oily skin. It's beautiful! I love how it looks! I also bought a mini Givenchy Prism Libre powder to try... worth the hype! My skin looks absolutely flawless after I powder it down! I'm in love! Also, I ordered some of your makeup brushes a few weeks ago. Well, I'm a believer in good brushes now (I still have my 8 dollar Elf brushes and love them, too). I ordered some more on Amazon yesterday for Prime Day... I can't wait for them to arrive. I also love doing my makeup. I just wish i had more room for it!

The foundation is so glowy, it looks like the flawless finish in a stick form. I think this is the 3rd review of this product and it looks like everyone applied highlighter all over the face.
