You always make perfect sense to me, Lisa. I'm looking forward to part 2. I have realized the more birthdays I have, the less makeup I wear. I still love , and wear makeup, just found that less is more these days. Blessings, and joy..MaryEllen

I tend to think less is more at all ages 😊 I’m thinking healthy skin, diet, sleep make us feel fresher than “heavy” make up 😊 I love make up that feels and looks light!

You know I agree MaryEllen! I think of how much makeup I wore in my 20s, and I definitely find myself leaning towards a lighter look every year that passes :) Happy New Year!

I appreciate this so much! I match my foundation to my neck and sometimes the “makeup artist” thinks I’m crazy. Yes, it results in a lighter foundation, but like you, I can warm up with bronzer. My arms are ALWAYS darker than my face. I’ve always used a concealer in nearly the same shade as my foundation and didn’t get onto the super light under eye concealer train.
@jann34433 жыл бұрын
You are 100% correct regarding concealer that is too light. I have recently started using a shade just a tiny lighter than my foundation and it definitely looks more youthful on me. I have 72 yr old fine lines and texture from under my eyes to my cheeks now. I like brightness but I like not emphasizing those imperfections even more! The second I saw you on this video I thought, "Lisa's top is the color of the BK Beauty brush handles!" Such a pretty burgundy.

Every single tip is spot on, especially matching your foundation to your neck. The amount of people (including beauty content creators) who are so mismatched their head looks like it's floating, separate from their body! I do love your tips and tricks Lisa, you're an excellent teacher. Thank you so, so much much 💖 Wishing you a wonderful 2022, filled with love, success and blessings, Love you lots and lots, ❄❣❄❣❄❣❄❣❄❣❄❣❄❣❄ PS : Thank you for every vid you filmed, edited and uploaded. It is always helpful to watch these because so many people go for the latest "fad" even if it looks terrible on their complexion. I think its important to enhance your features rather than make the make up the focus of attention. Specifically the use of bright blushes and highlighters to the extreme.. many folks just look clown like these days!

Great recommendations for various needs. Also, showing the split screen so we can see the comparisons is so helpful, rather than you just talking about it. Good job, makeup trainer! 😃 Your style and delivery have really become professional over time on youtube. That's the best advice about matching your foundation to your neck. It's so much more natural that way. I've seen other You Tubers who tan their neck, but their face is lighter, and they match their neck. It's too much and not realistic. Great suggestions, Lisa. Can't wait for part 2. 😊❤❤
