Lisa, it baffles me as to why people would be mad at you for sharing your life affirming results that came from a diet.??? You are not telling any of us to do as you have. Just how much better you feel! I appreciate anyone telling me things that have improved their life. I have a precious friend who tells me the Bible scriptures to read that helps her with this walk thru life. I appreciate it so much! Lisa, you are one of my favorite KZbin and I so appreciate you sharing all the good & sad (thinking Bridget here). We can all benefit from everyone's victorys as well as failures in this great thing we call life. So thank you so much my sweet KZbin friend Lisa!

Lisa, my boyfriend has been on Carnivore for about a month now and has lost around 20 pounds already! He has been trying to get me to do it with him. I have been getting so frustrated that I have not been able to lose weight. I kept telling him that it’s just different for women! Then, this morning he saw one of you videos on KZbin and woke me up to watch it. I’ve now watched 3 of your Carnivore videos and I am completely motivated! Thank you for sharing your story and insight!!

Lisa, you are a big reason why I am down nearly 70 lbs. I was new to your channel at the time and watched your Carnivore/weight loss journey from the beginning. I started my own journey as a result about 3 months in, although I did it with IF and Keto not Carnivore. Through the process, I found your videos so inspirational and motivating. I watched you melt away (in a good way) and you just seemed to be beaming from the inside out as your journey progressed .😄 I never miss a video...they're like visits with a friend. God Bless!

Lisa, I have been following you for a couple of years now and looove your channel. I am also southern (Tx) almost 51 and have suffered quietly with hair loss/breakage, bloating, upset stomach, heartburn and terrible joint inflammation. In January I decided to take the 30 day carnivore challenge and everyone thought I was nuts. I have never tried something that began revealing results this fast…day 3, no bloating…like, NONE! I felt “morning skinny” all the time. By week 3 about 80% of the swelling and inflammation in my knee and ankles was gone. I’ve never turned back and it has all continued to improve. Everyone I encountered can see a change in my appearance, skin, alertness, weight etc. When I tell them what I’m doing they look at me as though I have a horn growing from my forehead but I doooo noooot care, I feel awesome and it’s my life to live! Thank you for sharing!!!

I’m 45, done Clean Keto leaning more Carnivore for almost a year and a half now. I also do 2 meals.(IF)Dropped from 176 lbs to 122 lbs in the first 3 Months but I did it for the anti inflammatory effects. And to cure my hypoglycemia. And I have never felt better. My RA cleared up and I almost never flare up! My hypoglycemia is gone. And I’ve never felt better. Cravings disappear after a few weeks. It’s absolutely been worth it to me.

I know what you mean about ibs. I’m so glad you addressed this and talk about ulcerative colitis. I’m glad carnivore works for you. I love beans and used to eat them all the time as a vegan. I always had bloating and horrible gas when I ate beans so when I make 🌶️ chili. I make a no bean chili. I find after my gastric bypass vegetables make my stomach hurt. As long as I have a choice, I might eventually become completely carnivore because I’m finding that vegetables in large quantities bother me.

Also applegate no sugar bacon, for those who may be interested. I am very particular with QUALITY.

Famous quote...” you cannot exercise your way out of a bad diet.” So I was trying to do the keto diet but overall inflammation and stomach issues continued. Well. I did a food sensitivity test and discovered I have a high moderate bordering on high food sensitivity to yogurt, casein (in all dairy...cheese, butter, etc), cow’s milk, and egg whites. Unfortunately, does not work for me. Since I stopped eating those foods, inflammation diminished. You look fabulous so glad it works for you! 😀

Hi Lisa, I just subscribed to your channel which is something I never do. I have been watching all your videos for 3 weeks now. I came to you from the Carnivore world looking for "what I eat in a day" inspirations. I just love your videos. Thanks you for sharing your journey. I have been Atkin's for 18 years then diagnosed with 9 different Autoimmune diseases so shifted to Paleo, back to Atkin's, AIP, back to Atkin's again and now Carnivore. I have been doing Carnivore (not 100% for 3 months more Atkin's 72) but now moved into 100% over the last week. I am going to the Doctor Monday to see if I have Thyroid issues to add to everything else but hoping the WOE helps. I have gained 75lbs over the last two years being put on steroids, Chemotherapy, and tons of other drugs to keep me out of the ER. I am in remission and want to keep it that way,. I am finally off all meds (right now). You, Dr.Berry and Neisha, Dr.Baker, Laura Spath and all the other ladies have really been a huge help. Thank you!!!! On another note I have never been a make-up girl but always wanted to be. I just bought some products you have suggested to give a try. You always look so beautiful. Keep up the great job!

I am 53 and couldn't lose the extra 25 pounds I put on during menopause. I started Keto in January and have dropped 20 lbs so far. It really is about the sugar and insulin spikes. Our metabolism changes at leading up yo and after menopause. What you could do eating/exercise wise in your 20's and 30's doesn't work in your 50's! I am happy with the results but really miss bread. Staying the coarse for now. Thanks for sharing your eating plan, Lisa. I agree with not tracking calories or macros. That make you constantly think about food. Weight-loss can occur without doing that and keeps you mind focused on other things.

You are just beautiful and im so excited to be doing carnivore for as long as possible. I don't want to over think it. My husband and I are doing the conivore diet and we both like it, we love Ribs, Rib eyes, Steaks, steak burgers, and I love cooking it in butter, onion powder and montreal seasoning my go to spice, It's salty and peppery just a mixture of diferent spices in one, it's my favorite, and my husband is from Indian and he's doing it with me, and he's hindu and he says he's never felt good. We do love our Indian food. So when we make chicken we use curry powder, ghee, cummin, tumeric, pepper so I cook it in that spices, so he can still have his culture. When we go to a Indian resturant I love tandoori shrimp and chicken, omg you would love tandoori shrimp and Tandoori chicken. If we go to Golden Corral, we go in the evening sometimes and we fill up on steak and ribs. Sometimes we love sonny's cause all the ribs you and eat for a set price and we don put sauce on it. I have unsweeten iced tea with a lemon wedge. This what we do when we go out, at times, at home we make rib eyes we love rib eyes, we love our steak and eggs some bacon on the side. We have been doing this sense end of December, I used to be 289 and was diabetes and high blood pressure 7was just beginning, learning I can reverse it so I went walking changed my diet, threw out everything sugar and carbs, when I studied carnivore diet and Raj and I tried it. The scale went down much faster, before it kept reading the samething, soon I went carnivore last time I was 265, now I am 255 omg what a big difference. I feel happy and noticing changes in myself, my skin is feeling soft my weight is coming off, I still long to go but I and my husband can see a difference. And we both happy, and my husband being indian I try to keep his indian food for him so I do a little keto to help him while he's working on himself.

I'm 48, perimenopausal and been on the carnivore diet for 9 weeks. No cheating at all. I feel amazing, my skin looks amazing, my body composition has changed a little bit but......I still haven't lost any weight. I have no idea why. I started out not tracking my macros and eating til I'm comfortably full. I'm drinking plenty of water and I strength train 3-4 days a week as well as walk every other day. I started tracking my macros to see if I was over eating or under eating. Still nothing. It's very discouraging but I'm sticking with it.

Hey there Lisa! Did you ever think about doing a what I eat in a day video? Maybe you could do a few days in one video? I think that would be so helpful! I’m always running out of ideas of what to make. Xo 😘

Hi Lisa, have you noticed an increase in your LDL (bad cholesterol)? The study you attached mentions this as an adverse side effect: LDL-cholesterol, a major conventional cardiovascular disease risk factor, was markedly elevated

I tried this and my LDL was climbing. I realize everyone's different.

@@dianedoskoch9650 yes. It seems to be working great for Lisa and I'm so happy for her! If I were her, I'd do the same with my doctor's blessing.

There are 7 markers in LDL. The first 2 can be high and this is not a problem, it's the remaining 5 markers that are the issue if they are high - they indicate oxidisation and that is bad. So having high LDL is NOT the issue. It's what the LDL breakdown is that matters. Unfortunately, almost all physicians/GPs only order tests and look at the overall LDL score and if its high, promptly prescribe a statin. What they don't do is order the full panel of LDL markers to be analysed. Great KZbin video on this by Dr Paul Mason, Low Carb Down Under, from Dec 2018 'Blood Tests and the Keto Diet' and also from Dec 2019 'Evidence Based Keto'. Interesting stuff. Eye opening in fact. Dig deeper in statins also, vids on that too on the channel. I had high LDL (so therefore high overall cholesterol), my GP was having conniptions because I refused to take a statin. I said send me to the cardiologist and do an ECG etc. Well, the cardiologist wondered what the hell I was doing there, I was clean as a whistle. I'm 56. I then contacted Dr Mason's rooms and had the full LDL panel taken and analysed. I was exactly like the man at the start of the first video I mentioned above. And to think my own GP (and most of them) would have had me take a statin. Just insane.
